TYR's video "Hail to the Hammer" was shot on the Faroe Islands. While the Western winds ravage the cliffs, they still rise steeply from the sea to the sky. The air shots are taken from an Atlantic Airways helicopter over Tindholm and Trælanípu (legend has it, that from these cliffs were thrown slaves, no longer of use to their masters).

4224 frames for a video of 284 seconds comes out to a mediocre 15 fps and at 320x240 resolution makes the video barely watchable. This is such an epic song. Even all these years later this remains among my most favorite folk metal songs. Only Thor has the might to break this dichotomy.

It seem's to be. It is described as a much freer group than official Orthodox or Catholic. I dont know all the detail's yet. But I would say they are a bit like Lutheran's in that they protested the corruption they saw growing in the Vatican. ps: I found Cathar's in Spain,(Occitan region near Languedoc),. Living breathing Cathar's! And it's back in Languedoc too! As a pagan I find the whole story amazing. Im' happy they survived the crusade of long ago.
