The reason for the mid-air pose is so it can be displayed with the Triceratops in the same scale. The display bases fit together and you get a scene where the T Rex is leaping towards its adversary. Questionable that a T Rex actually did any leaping (more of a Raptor thing) but it makes an interesting display. I ditched the clear pole and modified the legs so it's freestanding, which works better if displayed on its own :)

I built an Airfix T-Rex in the 70s as a child here in England. He was painted in a glossy green forest green Humbrol paint, and he had the whitest teeth. I wish I still had it.

Honestly, I’m kind of surprised you were able to purchase this for $35, I would have guessed $10-$15 more at least - especially for it being Bandai. I might have to pick this kit up, very happy that they included the gastralia with it. Thanks for sharing an interesting kit build.

Love seeing and hearing (ASMR) you clip the pieces off the runner it's very Gio San Pedro. I feel more immersed in the process with this new editing style. Please do more of these videos if you have the time it was super fun 😁😁

For visual only , older kits , Pyro , Aifix/MPC to nname but two did them , how available , E bay or private collections , as far as I know ? Pyro is long gone but the molds may survive , Airfix stopped making them after the first rash , it also may be I think (memory not that good at 65) that Tamiya or another of the Japanese firms also dabbled !!! Nice work , good to see a young modeller , I was 7yo when I started , enjoy learn and build all at the same time !!!!! UK model maker.

I didn't know Bandai made kits like this. When I saw the box, I thought it must be a difficult kit with lots of tiny pieces. 30 minutes is all that's needed for assembly 😮 This was a fun video, and all the little clicky clicky ASMR was satisfying 😃

May 25, 2023---Thanks for the video. I've got the Tamiya T-Red that I'll use in a 1/35 scale zombie/apocalypse diorama. There's a closed dinosaur park in Arkansas that I got a lot of photos from via Google. That T-Rex is laying on its side, with a hole in its belly. A survivor will make it his or her temporary shelter.

Yes Gundam is great and all but there is so much more out there to build. This was a fun video. Ps, the Bandai Exploring Lab Nature kits are cool, i just picked up the Great White Shark, that would be a nice easy build for a video like this.

Love it!!.. Next time try to sand paper it on the plastic attachment. Takes time but looks great. 😊😊😊. I guess that if you make a painting job on it could be a great model after all

I've given up on Gunpla and model kits in general after my MG unicorn and RG Sinanju both fell off a desk and parts flew everywhere. But honestly? I might give it another go with this kit. T-rexes are always nice. Not my fave dino (that'd be a toss-up between a stego and ankylo) but T-rex ain't half bad.

Would love to see the half-and-half models. I saw ads for those and wondered if I should get them for my nephews. I like the size, since it's about the size of a MG overall with the base and stuff, which gives you a lot of plastic to look at, even if it's a quick build!

I also watch dinosaur related content, so I’m surprised YT has been so slow to bring this channel to my attention. Love the video! It's funny that it's just the bones hovering over the ground like that. I would like this better if they put the flesh and skin on it so you could paint some cool reptile colors and make it look alive but hey, science.

It's a fun build and I'm not even gonna pretend the call of the dinosaurs isn't getting to me... But, yeah, the price point isn't exactly winning me over in proportion of what we're getting. Also, loved the building montage! The edit was hard work but the result was fantastic!

Well this is something I can actually understand. I don't know anything about gundam, but I always loved dinosaurs. It probably isn't a bad idea to show other kinds of models if you want to expand your audience. Also, nice farmer's tan.
