*TYRE REVIEW* Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport + BMW M2 Competition Review

Not really much of a car review in this video, it's more along the lines of a tyre review. Goodyear have provided me a the BMW M2 Competition test car wearing the Eagle F1 Supersport Tyre.
Plus I interview a touring car legend, Colin Turkington.

have had these on my gti since the start of summer, can only compare them to the dunlop sport maxx it had on before. The Goodyears are faster in the wet than the Dunlops are when it's dry.

Personally I would love to see the comparison test you spoke of. It would be nice to know that there is a tire that is as good if not better than the Michelin’s for a cheaper price.

Have the Goodyear f1 super sports on my focus rs mk2 fantastic tyre. Replaced the conti contact 3 as there was terrible, picked the f1 super sports on reviews and price over the mps4 glad I did there awesome wet and dry

My MPSS are hilarious right now at just around 3mm tread in wet and dry. I like that little (or alot!) of slip on the M2. But i'm hardly gonna replace with them, I think i'll go PS4S for the softer complience and quieter ride as it is my daily. Otherwise the Goodyears would go on.

I've been considering a F80 M3 now I think I want this.. how does a M2 comp slide if provoked is it twitchy or progressive?

Super progressive IMHO. I think its the diff combined with the quick steering ratio that makes it very progressive in a slide. That's not to say its not twitchy, because the short wheelbase makes it quick to change direction, but every time the rear has broken loose (and I live in seattle where it rains all the time) i've been like "OH!...oh...oh this is fine." IF you don't know at all how to catch oversteer, the car will be an absolute handful, because it oversteers quite a bit. But if you're any good at all at catching oversteer, the car will feel very predictable. Hope that makes sense.

ZF/Torque vectoring auto boxes are stronger and more reliable than the DCT's and how quick they are now is not that far from the dual clutch plus they still give you that drama between shifts
