I’m glad you get the chance to review this stuff. I was going back and forth between the X1, LP4, and an actual fiber laser. The F1 was my first choice based on the other reviews I’ve watched and its overall flexibility. Just needed to know how well it works for knife makers. Thanks Denis!

Im getting ready to get a Lazer but the last lazer you reviewed looked alot simpler to use. I need something very simple and I don't have Internet at my shop. Thanks for the video
@TyrellKnifeworks11 ай бұрын
I would strongly recommend this one over the LaserPecker. The software for this one doesn’t require internet if you have a computer to hook to it and it’s faster with better options. This one is also cheaper. If you are thinking about attachments, they are much more versatile with the xTool F1. Either will certainly do the job though. Thanks for watching, Richard.

@TyrellKnifeworks- When you did 4 passes on the steel as a knife mark, were you in IR mode?

Hello! I want to engrave silver jewelry but I don't want the engraving to be too dark. Can you put a clear engraving? fine? thank you so much

You can probably engrave it with the laser and then buff it and it will take out the darkness. Thanks for watching.

Is the performance on hardened steel substantially different than the (unhardened) 80CRV2?
@TyrellKnifeworks6 ай бұрын
Performance is the same. I’ve actually seen no difference on hardened steel. I use this laser for all my makers marks now.

DPI: assuming dots per inch? The very low settings, say... 1-200, these would be for artists, shading, like a dot matrix realistic picture.
@TyrellKnifeworks11 ай бұрын
It’s not quite like that. It’s not dithering the pixels but blocking them out. If you did something like 20 dpi you get a pixelated image. Not the dot-matrix effect. Thanks for watching.
