Hello Martin, I enjoy to practice your "Learn Rapier" videos. Can you please make a Rapier & Dagger instruction video. There is a lack of rapier&dagger instruction on KZbin. Thank you very much for your understanding and for all your videos.

Hi, thanks for uploading these. Also you've got some sick MC Hammer slides (e.g. 14:57 ), no wonder your opponents hardly touch you.

All of the last three fights were very hard for me because Belcredi, Janicina and Kultaev are all VERY tough fighters :)

Any tips on how to defeat rapier/dagger with solo rapier? I was told to wait for the rapier/daggers attack to cavazione their lunge and counter.. but I find I am waiting around for a long time. it may be my fault, I am a bit of a raging bull hyper-aggressive lunger, so maybe my classmates just know I will not be able to help myself. I do well against other solo rapiers but dual wielders just mop the floor with me.. it sucks :(

Hi! I would say playing the defensive game is quite risky. In order to fight a dual wielding opponent effectively, you need take the initiative, make them busy with trying to counter your attacks - opening themselves and then use it to get your hit. Even though you're fighting with one weapon you could still use your off-hand to parry thrusts or block opponents weapon when using an aggressive approach. Winning over someone skilled who has a sidearm advantage is extremelly hard so don't take your frustration too far :) It's an uneven fight unless you play the rhytm.

This is cool!! You wouldn't happen to have been a sport saber fencer say back in the mid 90's by any chance, would you?

Hey, for sure not :) Firstly I was about 7 years of age and secondly I haven't done sport fencing before :)
