And I was initially questioning Tyrone's laughter, until I realized it's a defense mechanism - because right now it's either laugh or cry at the absurdity and the abuse we as fans have received. And for those of us who've passed into apathy (me included) laughter is easier. Tyrone is showing respect the only way he can, by witnessing Theory's reaction and processing with him. My auntie is part of the LGBTQ community. She lives in Taiwan and we were discussing this episode late at night. I actually didn't mind the witches and the story behind the coven. However, we both agree the logic errors in this episode were confusing and didn't make any sense. I remember watching Return of the Jedi in the theater with her when she lived in the US. I was 9, and scared of the emperor, but we had tons of fun. The words of this show she used were 開玩笑. Which in the context basically means that they are playing around and making a joke out of Star Wars. Well at least they have an Asian Jedi.

What would have been a cool idea is if these witches were working with a very limited knowledge of the Force, and the jedi were able to bestow on them the full truth and knowledge behind the force (that it's not a string, that it is a force that is all around us and binds us) and give the witches (and the audience) a reason to love and respect the Jedi and validate their existence and mastery of this universal power in the universe. But no, they're going with the moral relativism approach that is so predictable and emblematic of modern immoral hollywood, not to mention giving this commune of witches powers BEYOND what ANY Sith Lord or Jedi Master has ever possessed by giving them the ability to CREATE FUCKING LIFE.
