The problem with the cgi is that they do vfx while filming the movie but then with reshoots they cut out a bunch and add a bunch so the vfx artist have to do more

Absolutely they go cheap on cgi now. Go back and watch Starship Troopers, it looks real to this day. Even Terminator 2 still looks great. It's obvious at times it's cgi, but it still rivals the best made today.

Recently re-watched Terminator 2 and the cgi in it is just timeless, and as for practical effects it made me think "They just don't do them like they did back in those days".

It's the mix of practical effects plus cgi that does it. Modern Marvel movies don't even use real sets for normal rooms, it's all cgi.

One movie that Critical Drinker trashed that was actually good was Tyler Perry's Netflix "Six Triple Eight". I was surprised because I normally hate Tyler Perry movies. The Critical Drinker even admitted in his review, he hadn't even seen the movie, he was protesting the movie ever being made.

This is not "watching but reviewing" is more common than we see. Notice many of these guys like Drinker, Nerotic, AZ, Disparu post their videos around the same time, almost as if they coordinate their upload date and gotta post it by then no matter what. Drinker have admitted to watch movies while on treadmill. He seems to get many things wrong that are very obvious in the movies. He was confused on why Nosferatu was being released on Xmas despite the movie actually taking place during christmas setting. He didn't understood why one of Emperor twins in Gladiator 2 was acting so crazy despite his twin talking about "how his gr0in disease have gotten to his brain and making his condition worse" in a pivotal scene. He also got a few things glaringly wrong in his Romulas review. Only way these mistakes happen when you get plot info from friends or wiki page or from low quality cam rips, whose clips he uses a lot in his reviews.

what do you mean, red hulk literally has thanos level cg, as thanos is just a giant purple man using josh brolin as a base, the exact same thing translates to harrison ford. Hes just a giant red monster using ford as a guide, exactly what you saw with thanos. The only difference being is red hulk footage being compressed into a tiny 5 secs of a youtube trailer and youre comparing that to a giant theater screen projection two movies worth of thanos, give em a chance it isnt bad cgi youre seeing, youre comparing the pinnacle of motion capture to small clips compressed to youtube quality

The only thing Marvel has that I would have been, maybe, interested in, was the Fantastic 4 movie. However their casting choice of Pascal and gender bending Silver Surfer got me off that bandwagon. No, I am not interested in Daredevil either. Marvel is more dead than Star Wars for me. Marvel have not hit rock bottom yet, Star Wars have, so for Star Wars the only way is sideways or up, Marvel can still get worse...

I think it's going to be a good year for Marvel. Captain America Brave New World looks good despite everything. Nothing about it from the trailers makes me think it's going to be bad. The Thunderbolts looks like an above average movie. Daredevil looks good. It's honestly too early to judge Fantastic 4 First Steps. Was Pedro Pascal my first choice for Mr Fantastic no but he's a good enough actor to pull it off. I didn't want a female Silver Surfer but it's an alternate universe, so I will let it slide. Wonder Man is the only one that's up in the air at this point but everything else I'm hype for including Iron Heart.
