Everyone talks about how the 90s were the shining golden era for heavyweight boxing. Everyone talks about how the Klitschko brothers DOMINATED the division for 10+ years from 2004 to 2015. Tyson Fury has almost single-handedly ensured we'll be talking about incredible heavyweight boxing was from the late 2010s - early 2020s. The story, the struggles, the climb back to the top. There's a REASON the jab/cross combo is called the ONE TWO....cause they're the most used punches in all of boxing! Always have been, always will be. Tyson’s resurrection must go down as one of the all-time great boxing moments. Add in the context of what came before for Tyson, and add in Wilders dance and the look of sheer disbelief when he realised Tyson had risen from the dead. Not a LEGEND without MENTIONING the CUT against Otto Wallin. The FACT that the Ref and NSAC let that FIGHT CONTINUE, and the WORK that CAPETILLO did on that CUT, is the ONLY REASON that Tyson Fury is STILL UNDEFEATED and this video was MADE. How did that get MISSED in this [great] video ?!

@@RiderABC187 i mean he did end the 11 year reign by Klitschko and Wilder's 10 title defenses that's pretty impressive. Plus he's a 2 time lineal champ and has won every belt (wbc, wbo,ibf, wba) and never lost them inside the ring. If he becomes Undisputed and beats Usyk, AJ, or both and maybe beat Dillian Whyte and Ruiz to go along with it then Yes. He will be up there with the greatest Heavyweights of all time. At least in my opinion

Tyson Fury is really in the top 10 boxers of all time. I'd say top 5 but that would be a stretch. But the way he managed to comeback from everything he went through definitely puts him in top 10
@nicholasflores6793 жыл бұрын
I love his come back just as much as the next man. But making a comeback doesn’t raise cause for brownie points in the all time conversation. If you’re gonna say he’s a top 10 all time. Respect him and give it because of his abilities. Not because of something he caused in the first place.

Fury is a special fighter and a special man. He is the best heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis. He has overcome obesity, depression, alcoholism, drug addiction and suicidal ideation and won back a portion of the heavyweight title. Most importantly, he is still going today and hopefully will unify all four major belts before he retires from the sport he loves. I really hope that the Usyk fight happens because, for me, that's the only fight that really matters for Fury to cement his legacy as one of the best heavyweight champs of all time.
