Tyson I love this series and watching your play, I have never seen you hit your forehand with the way you teach it "butt cap facing the ball." I think that's a tennis thing and for a 77 year old would be a disaster.

Tyson, great video series. Thanks for the instruction on backhand grip. Do you use Eastern or Semi Western grip for your forehand drives? That is what I do to aide with topspin and I know Simone teaches this, but I wanted to get your take. Thanks

Tyson, Not a fan of the 2 handed backhand. I know it's successful with Simone and "some" others, (mostly 5.0+ and have tennis background) With that in mind the purpose of the 2 hander is from tennis players who needed additional pace/power on their backhand. Pickleball doesn't require such pace and REACH is more important. I say give up 2 hander for 95% of players and focus on getting paddle on the ball.. What say you my brother?? Kevin-

Two handed necessary if you don’t have enough control, need stability, have good usage of non dominant arm or coming from 🎾 👍
