After 1 week of playing now. I never had so many fun and close games on lvl 10 difficulty. Before every one had meta weapons and only the tryhards did lvl 10. Now I had many where we used all 20 reinforcements even with 3 people with "OP" flamethrowers. Now it make sense that so many bile titans and charger gets thrown at you, you can defend yourself it's fun but you can still die very quickly. For me the game feels perfect now, we only need more buffs for the other weapons. It's fun feeling strong and overpowered but you get humbled real quick if you slack. Feels good to be back and to have Space Marine 2 also

People will always complain about the game being too easy and especially after buffs, the difference is this is actually fun and you can now use weapons rather than being forced to used like a select few meta weapons, that's no fun.

I would say the flamethrowers are not the preferred way to kill chargers anymore because you need to use a stun grenade usually, and if you are only using those for chargers then it is preferable to bring thermite grenades instead. If you have only a split second before you get buried by a tidal wave of hunters and alpha brood commanders, it’s way easier to just yeet a grenade at their head and run away

@@IAmNumber4000 tbh, i am a flamethrower user only when i play bugs. Never needed stuns. Sometimes i used jump pack to jump over it but usually, one side dive and flame away. This might be a little bit of a hidden tech, but aiming a impact grenade right infront of the ground of the charger was always able to kill it. Also worked with hulks, once the Hulk leg is torn, just make it fall, run a circle or something.

the game is still pretty difficult imo considering the increased damage we take, but it is more fun, and i thought it was great before the patch. everything feels so much better. yes bots are a pain because they kill us faster, BUT amr is accurate through the scope which feels much better

I would be fine with the torcher and crisper not being able to kill chargers and titans as long as they do more damage to smaller enemies it struggles against crowds which sucks sense you have to be so close for it too work,if it was better against medium armor and light enemies i would run this,but i guess using this against chargers and stuff allows things like stalwart to finally see some use

Yeah the armour looks cool but gas protection isn't enough of a passive for me since the damage I take from it is so low anyway. The stim pistol is great but the dart should track players it's shot at since you're all always running and the ability to shoot at a surface and run over it for a self stim would make it perfect. The steriliser needs a lingering cloud and some stack DOT from direct firing and the dog breath needs a targeting change to sweep over swarms rather than individually target enemies. Not hating the warbond it's a great concept but needs some tweaks as I expected.

@@damienmcdonald7610 I have no idea what people are on about when they act like gas does no damage. From the comments you'd think you could go afk in a cloud of deadly gas, get yourself a coffee and be fine once you return. Like, sure, gas deals less dps than fire. But fire also kills you in the blink of an eye, leaving barely enough time to hit the dive button and stim yourself. But gas.. isnt *that* much slower at it. You accidentally walk into a cloud of gas (easy to do if the planet is full of green dust and smoke anyways), and once you realise you are taking dot damage, you can barely make it out alive. Also, if you reflexively press the dive button, since you are used to playing with fire, instead of stimming yourself, you more likely than not just killed yourself unless you also accidentally made it out of the cloud. Both are increadibly deadly, the main difference is that it's easier to stay out of gas. There is less gas effects in the game, and unless you walk straight into them or get hit by a random nade/orbital of a teammate, you are rarely ever under the effect, since affected enemies cant rub it on you, like with fire^^ I do agree on the armors tho. Doesnt feel like good enough of a passive. You kinda have to pick your poison.. get less damage from physical attacks, take the 50/50, take longer stim effects, or get way less damage from a specific source of damage, but skim out on all the other options. If there was a set to do both fire+gas resist that would be worth a thought imho. Unless they dialed down the resistance to meaningless levels. We could also use some ship upgrades that give us some passive fire and gas resistance. Nanites or whatever.

The Torcher and Crisper are strong, but they’re not OP imo. It takes a considerable amount of time to kill heavies with the torcher and crisper and chargers often require the use of a stun grenade because they move around a lot. The flamers feel like they are in a really good place.

i've tried so many times and can't replicate what you're doing with these chargers. Closes I've gotten was taking 3/4 canister of the primary to kill it shooting the head. But most cases it's taking 2+. for a primary that makes sense. Just wondering what I'm doing wrong and what you're doing right

I second this. Absolutely cannot reproduce this in any sort of real gameplay scenario. Feels like you are shooting it for ages. Im NOT using stun grenades just for that tho (might aswell just use thermites then) so there is that. Maybe distance does play a role, as he suggested in his reply above. But then it's also kinda pointless that they can kill chargers this quickly. I'd honestly much rather have them be increadibly good crowd control (read:murder) weapons at close range, which ironically they struggle with a bit unless it's really just chaff.

@@GameFuMasterit could be your distance that's the issue here. There's probably a specific point in the stream where it does the most damage and if you're too close/too far you'll deal less damage. Try out a few different ranges and see if that makes a difference. I usually run thermites with a supply pack for heavies right now so I haven't tested this myself, just a guess.

I have a problem. It seems like whenever anything that's burning touches me my guy just bursts into flames. This is supposed to be a mechanic of the gas but now the fire is doing it and it's making it unplayable. If Hunter jumps at you and it's on fire you're instantly on fire too

there are several issues that prevents me from using and having fun with fire. That is one of them, the other is the lack of stagger, so enemies just run into you regardless, especially flying hunters. You either have to kill them mid flight or they'll still stagger you and risk burning yourself. The other is if you flame while diving or prone, you'll likely catch fire yourself

Enemy health is the same from level 1 to level 10, there is no health scaling in this game
