Looks like the old 90's Cerwin Vega Vflex surround on the Vega and the HED models.This surround looks spot on like the HED model...the vega model had wider rolls.....nothing new,but i do like this driver you have shown.

$700 but yes a lot of money. On the other hand JL cost about that. From what I see is the coil is wound on the inside of the former.and the pole is now on the outside. Hence the bulging cone allowing for that much excursion. But also just two expensive. In time others will make things like this for less. Kinda cool though.

Polk MM 10” and 12” have 1” or 25mm xmax. 4 1/2” and 4 5/8” mounting depth. Oh and they can be bought for like 120-160

Back around 1994 I had a single 12 inch JBL 1000 watt sub that had this same W style surround. It's not something new under the sun. Been around for many years. It was effective 😊

than 20mm is end to end or one way? because it's very important. 20mm one way is impressive, but 10mm is already lower than JL, Hertz, Audimobile EVO 2410, so won't be that impressive especially using a not known brand, when these 3 are granted for succes
