There is extensive evidence that what she said regarding Guantanamo is steeped in human rights and Constitutional violations. Her explanations of these things is slightly contradictory and problematic. I know it’s just an interview, but man Preston, I hope you aren’t buying this stuff.

Yeah. She’s coming from a particular people-focussed perspective about people doing their best. No doubt that is true but there is also a mountain of evidence that deep state absolutely exists carrying out atrocities both at home and abroad. There are no angels here. Human nature is human nature whatever colour of skin, ethnicity or religion you put it in.

Yes one thing I notice about the rise of Christian right - researching say ‘Pentecostalism’ I found that it was hard to listen to someone blasting away at it including it being ‘demonic’. That’s where I became a Christian so……. But I did want to listen to how he felt it went wrong but I couldn’t listen too it because it was too negative. All denominations have their issues.. 2 I think people are motivated by fear, a desire to get control.

Watching after election....while Trump makes me cringe...i feel like Rfk and Tulsi Gabberd might be intelligent enough and thoughtful enough to perhaps bring good corrections to some of our institutions?
