When I was deployed to Iraq I used to get weed from a civilian contractor who lived on our base, made my deployment much better but one time after my team smoked up in a bombed out house we got a call from another platoon that needed our help so we went to go help but we got blown up on the way followed by a firefight, I've gotta say it really messes up your high lol

If you are already quick to panic/excitable then the sound would get overwhelming but if you are more brave you could quite seriously focus on IGNORING the sounds and being high would make that possible (more than it would be otherwise) as weed enhances whatever you are focusing on.
