I hope you all experienced what we call the Oklahoma standard while you were here and were treated like the heros you are. No doubt you all were a huge part of us getting back to normal. Amanda Collins is my favorite niece! I am her Uncle Craig. She is Amazing and now you see part of why and how. I am so proud of her!!! I was at the wedding, which was just two weeks ago. She and her husband are so happy (I won't name him here). Her father told me about this video and I couldn't wait to see it. Thanks for the beautiful coverage, Nightline. I'm not sure if Oklahoma City did it but in some places hospital administrators told doctors and nurses, "we know you're heros and all but if you don't take a vaccine you're gone". Not fired, just told to leave. Maybe if they'd shown respect they wouldn't have needed the military so bad. The real reason they were told to leave is because the hospital didn't want to look like a hypocrite for wanting people to get a vaccine but not getting it themselves. But if you go to a hospital and pay attention, you'll notice an awful lot of doctors and nurses smoke. That's not hypocritical or anything. Some also weigh over 250 pounds to, so I don't see the difference in being a hypocrite for not getting that vaccine.

So lets talk about the amount the nurses getting paid lol They are getting their normal wage plus 500-1000 bonus per shift, more if under heavy conditions, plus overtime. Wonder why most other businesses don't pay that well.

Always goes back to money and how much someone is getting paid. I swear, this country is obsessed with being in other people's personal business and are obsessed with money. Besides, they work in a hazardous environment, with the chance of getting deathly sick themselves, I mean that is literally putting their lives on the line. It's not like they are at McDonald's flipping burgers. They are trying to save lives, so perhaps appreciate that you don't have to do the same, because I sure am glad it's not me. But I pay my respects to both the military and these medical people for putting their lives on the line.
