Wife didn't want lots of equipment visible in the living room, so I hooked up a LP-120 to powered Klipsch speakers. I placed speakers inside a furniture piece with rattan front, so you don't see speakers but can hear them clearly without distortion. Wife gets what she wants and I get to enjoy my vinyls.

Nice review. Change Woe-burn to Woo-burn and the locals will be impressed.

These look great. But my heart is set on a pair of Klipsch R-625FA Dolby Atmos Floorstanding Speakers. They'll cost more then my record player lol, but I want some great speakers that will last a while with great sound compared to my speakers that I bought at a yard sale. Much Love Rocco, your the man! You made my Friday with a video

I prefer floor standing speakers. I def. Don’t have the cash for those at the moment not the space. You need those away from the wall a lot. Thanks for watching man and all the support. You are keeping this going!

These Ethos speakers look great! Love my MonoPrice powered studio monitor speakers. Use them for my desktop setup. I have my turntable and computer sound going into a Numark M6 USB mixer. XLR out to powered speakers.

They are solid. I would def recommend them for a desktop setup. I should have mentioned that in the review!

Is the Pluto's light always on?
@PiecesofVinylАй бұрын
Yes - when it is turned on. And there is no power button.

Do the speakers always emit a pitchy humming noise when turned on (and no playback)?
@PiecesofVinyl4 ай бұрын
Not That I noticed - if I turn the volume WAY up there is some noise (as expected) but not at normal volumes.

so with a built in pre amp. all youd need is a turntable with the pre amp and these powered speakers?
@PiecesofVinyl11 ай бұрын
If your turntable had a built in pre amp you would need these speakers. It would be a very minimal setup👍🏻

I thought about doing a demo of some kind but not sure how it would happen - once I introduce a microphone that throws off the whole thing right?

These are good speakers…but, it’s mostly (likely all) Chinese parts that they slap together in Woburn, so it’s not really a USA product. The tweeter is labeled “Made in China” and the cabinets are labeled “Jun Hao Audio Productions” (Chinese company). It’s a slight of hand, a missed opportunity, and a shame really.

It does say assembled in the USA not manufactured. They are young and small company maybe one day they will transition to all US made parts.
