I couldn’t be happier to be belting out u2 songs at one in the morning. I love them so much. I’m so glad my parents let me listen to U2 at a young age. I’m a seventeen and I think I have a better taste in music than some of my friends. Some of them will jame with me when I’m listening to U2 but most of them won’t. My parents raised me right in my opinion.

I was at their concert last june 16 in Montreal. I went to try to see Bono at the private parking lot with other fans waiting. He shook my hand. Macconator2010 Floyd came before Zeppelin (Floyd started in 1965, Zep started in 1968). Queen and INXS are excellent but their music is not as influential or important as U2's. You can go on if you want but there's simply no other band you can name who's had a bigger impact on music, post-Zeppelin. The closest contender is probably Nirvana.

No band member younger than 52 and they put out this and Ordinary Love. Funny how solid, enjoyable tracks can seem pedestrian when your catalog is that extensive and that incomparable. There will not be another band in our lifetime that will claim The World's Biggest Band title after 38 years together. Their last tour grossed $736 million, and sold 7.2 million tickets. Both easily world records. Along with Depeche Mode, my two favorite bands ever. I welcome all the U2 haters, they're necessary, as you can't achieve greatness and not have them. Technically, U2 had a few other people before they settled with this line up in 1978. The only band I know without a single line up change is Rammstein, started in '94, and they said they'll call it quits if anything forces a line up change. Every single word of this song speaks directly to me... I know this was done for an AIDS campaign, but it could very well be used for a fibromyalgia one, the "invisible" disease that affects millions of people around the world but barely has recognition from society (and in certain countries even from doctors) and it makes life just as hard as AIDS does because of how much affects the quality of life of those of us who have it and of our loved ones. People, including friends and family, won't believe or understand/accept the pain we go through every day, and as a result, we end up feeling completely outcasted, but we're more than you know, more than you see here and you let us be.
