Bono wrote that song for Michael...it was an argument he wished he'd had with Michael before he took his own life.... very haunting lyrics

I can't remember the name of tour but it was maybe within two years after MH death, I saw U2 in Milwaukee. Bono dedicated to him. It was either this one or Kite. I didn't know the two were friends. I immediately burst into tears. Kudos to Bono for keeping his friend alive.

Can’t say this about any other rock stars that have gotten a little chubby or out of shape: Bono can still sing his ass off even if he does look like he’s aged 20 years in the last 5 years.
@fastkarr82563 жыл бұрын
@LiveMusicIsMyLife nah, Bono’s vocal range isn’t what it used to be, his absolute peak as a singer was 89-93. And the man is in his 60s now, but even before then there was a noticeable change in his voice.

How does it come that i never could manage to see u guys. Almost 2 times with the most expensive tickets but 2 times sick! We have a Belgian expression that says: "Third time, good time" Litl backstage pass, pleasssse? puppy eyes icon Micheal Hutchence, what a man, what a talent, what a tragedy and the sad thing is that i can completely understand. Oh no, read it 2 sec ago on wiki; by hanging(!) In 1996 he gets a daughter and a year later this accident. Jesus he musta have been unhappy. I guess it had to do with the relationship between the momma of his little girl and him, sad sad sad. He had his carriere from 1977-1997. To me also 2 magical or better said tragical haha:) or AHA??-erlebeniss years.

Im disappointed U2 played Stuck in a Moment as a sound check in Adelaide, but didn't play it at the end, nor 40. Bono seamed to get peeved at the crowd....
@ObamaFromKenya4 жыл бұрын
Michael Ayliffe well you can hear the crowd talking in this video, so he’s probably peeved at all the crowds
