The whole band was great here, but this girl's composure and calmness is commendable too. She didn't go crazy during the whole song and that allowed Bono to sing while lying down, which is a very difficult posture to sing. This is still one of the best live performances ever! U2 is love :)

We all lived moment by moment back then. You had to make the best of every moment, and really be present and involved in it, because your memory of it was the only thing that would keep it alive. No cell phones in everyone's pocket, so that they could basically lose the entire moment by only focusing on recording it and trying to capture the perfect ridiculous "selfie", so that thousands of people could see the moment, but nobody really gets to really experience it.

U2 is my oldest love in music. Bono's voice, Edge's great sound and guitar playing and the solid and original spine of the band with Larry and Adam who are always forgotten... Just one of the best bands still active that never changed a band member and that was never afraid to take chances. I would love your input on a video of my first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) who is following us on Soundcloud but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. This is the reason they are the greatest and most loved band of all time , they went beyond playing their great music , they expressed a message of love and that's why it touched so many hearts since 1980

I was not expecting to get emotional while watching Sing 2, but when the audience started to sing along with Ash and then the Calloway started to play his guitar it almost got me in tears. Everything about that moment in the movie was absolutely perfect, especially this song and the fact that it was voiced by Bono himself. They truly did justice to this timeless song!

My dad came at home one day with this DVD...a music concert. I found it boring and I snob it. Few days after I decided to play it. More the concert was going and more I was in that sound...and then this song started. I don’t know how I was signing a song that I never listened before. 19 years are passed and this is still my favorite song ever. Being in Rome 2009 and Boston 2017 had been 2 of the most beautiful moment of my life.

"The girl brought up on stage will NEVER forget this day." Actually it was more than one day as she was a paid performer and part of the act that always got picked to be the girl that got to go on stage. Still a good show and a good song, but now you know the rest of the story.

bro, I have never seen these guys perform live, this is my first video I have seen them performing live. It was really nice how he treated that lady, it was really sweet! he just laid there singing with her, and then he kissed her hand and helped back into the audience, thats the kind of stuff kids should be seeing their favourite singers do, because it shows the kids how to treat one another and not objectify one another like how you see pop singers these days doing strip shows for their audience members on stage.
