Just aheads up about camping at nearby places, sometimes orders take 10-15minutes to make, so Uber will ping the driver that is around that distance rather than the driver who is the closest.

Good ride along! That was also a good tip on using the ubereats customer app to your advantage. In addition to seeing what promotions restaurants are running, you can also see which restaurants are more expensive than others. Usually, the restaurants that have 2 or more $ signs have customers that tend to tip higher and more frequently.

Today was my second day and I had an order for just a medium sprite from Wendy’s and I was like??? I got to the house dropped off the drink then the girl came out yelling at me saying she had food too but I showed her it was only a drink on her order and I sort of panicked and she went back in and shut the door so I tried to say I delivered it but it didn’t give me the option because I pulled away so I had to cancel it even though I dropped it off but still got the $5 fare so I guess I did okay

Thank you for the video! I have a question: how do you let the customer know that you arrived at their location and where to meet and give the order to the customer? Does the customer write a note where to knock on the door, or wait downstairs, do you call the customer to let them know etc.?

Great question! The app shows them my location so they can track my every turn and see me pull up. We can call and text easily through the app. They can add a note also...like "wait in car" or "please be quite" or "knock on the blue door".

I made my first delivery and had problems with navigation. I have Waze on my phone, but I don't know how that works if I change it to Waze in the Uber settings. The customer tips while ordering on the app and they have 1 hour to change the tip if they wanted. Uber Eats offers me the full amount. Keep in mind this video is 2 years old and the order screen looks completely different today, as I show in more recent videos.

Uber tells you where to pick up the food, THEN where to take it, THEN how much you made. DoorDash tells you all of this before accepting the order. I have a DD link in my description also so you can get a bonus! I'll film with them next if you want.

Great vlog, but it would of been better if u let your viewers see how much you made after every drop off like u let us see how many miles to your destination. People want to see how much you get paid per how many miles you are driving. Because that's what matters if you are doing uber eats for profit. I recommend dont except anything less then $1.00 per mile. Anything over that is good. Always try and shoot for $1.50 per mile. Other than that, that was a great vlog.

Yes, this is the first "job" I've had that I'm not dreading, I was a bit nervous at first because I was afraid of doing something wrong so when I realized how easy it is I wanted to film and share my experience. Plus my last job paid $9 an hour. I make at least $11 now.
