California insurance companies are leaving California in droves. Uber knows that they are gonna lose ton of drivers if an insurance company won't back Uber, as a corporate insurance plan. Therefore, Uber is telling drivers, "...hey, you wanna make more? Get your own insurance!!" What Uber is not saying is, "...our carrier is threatening to cancel us due to all the claims and we don't wanna lose business in Cali." This is a CHESS MOVE by Uber, as Uber is only doing things to benefit UBER, not the driver. Uber is backed into a corner right now, and they dont wanna admit it.

@@MicDropBBQ There are so many criminal activities on Uber especially in California! Evil Dara is promoting these activities internationally. Passengers have fake accounts, some drivers have fake accounts, and dangerous activities escalate after dark. Restaurants are losing big money because some drivers are stealing food. Some drivers are getting robbed, raped, car jacked and killed for less than minimum wages! The robots cannot get to San Diego, California fast enough. Our homeless population will have a NEW income stream as soon as that happens! These modern day SLAVE MASTERS aka CEO's days are limited! Karma will catch up with Evil Dara one way or another!

This is nothing more than Uber cutting out the middle man and offloading the costs onto the drivers. They want desperately to become an insurance broker. This will put them in the door. Unfortunately, Uber will "prefer" these commercially insured vehicles over the normal insured situation we currently have. It's just like how they "prefer" EV's over combustion. Soon, people will lose their business mainly because Uber will not provide 100% transparency and will clearly pay incorrectly. All in all, it's nothing more than a money grab while Uber uses this situation to enrich themselves.

Good motivation for drivers to get their companies going. Become true IC! Uber then becomes your database for leads.

I trained my mindset to understand that Uber is to be used as a tool to meet/network with people. take the next step towards being your own company and starting an LLC and getting a TCP approval then you can network with all your passengers letting them know that you are a private driver And start networking with them for future rides They may need to airport/venues/etc. That’s where the money comes in where these rides paint anywhere from $80-$300 an hour depending on the way you carry yourself and the vehicle you are using

You need private insurance anyway. So look at the difference exactly this also means you can take private trips it's a step in the right direction.

You cannot be above the law and skirt your way around driving laws. Every state is different. These gig companies need to stop penalizing drivers, and implement their apps BASED on the driving laws in the state. Its not a one app fits all anymore.

That’s good for uber only. Uber never does anything good for the drivers. Who remember when uber said they will pay per mile instead percentage 🤣 now drivers get 40% only of the fare.
@richcherwalk63499 күн бұрын
It’s just another way of making bigger profits by giving you 48cents a mile but taking it back on the back end. It also protects uber in labor lawsuits they can claim drivers are truly 1099 workers despite algorithms making us $15 per hour employees. The country desperately needs a $25 per hour minimum wage

They will lose a lot of part time drivers plus in this market when the rates are A-wire, they will manipulate drivers pay even more to reduce drivers share. Nothing Uber does benefits drivers.

❤❤❤ Great content Brother Sergio and Brother Chris! Thanks 🙏🙏🙏 for ALL of your AWESOME work! Evil Dara and Nonprofit David will put themselves out of business! These MODERN DAY SLAVE MASTERS do not understand their own businesses. Keep a close eye on stock prices! Passengers in my MARKET are pissed! Drivers are making less than minimum wages! Private rides are SKYROCKETING! $100.00 from San Marcos to San Diego airport is common. Uber and Lyft will charge this but pay the drivers around $30.00!

If this is something that gets rolled out nation wide, maybe insurance companies will begin to offer a per mile or per day date to potential customers. I drive part time, and this is something I may be interested in doing at some point if it rolls out in my market. Looking at my rides for this year, I've paid $8,856 towards the commercial insurance on my 2,002 total rides given this year. I only drive about 8-9 months out of the year. I barely drive from mid May thru mid August, and mid December thru mid January, as this time period is very dead in my market.

@rmarca83069 күн бұрын
P3 = Period 3 Period 1: The time you are in your car driving with the app on, but no rides or ride requests. Period 2: The time from the moment you get a ride request and accept it until the time you arrive at the pick up location. Period 3: The time from starting a ride with a passenger in your vehicle until the time you drop them off at their destination and end the ride.

He’s better than all of us….and smarter….because you don’t know the definitions they use…don’t forget that….lol… These guys are lowkey in the pockets of Uber…they know a lot of the guys, share secrets with them, etc.

No, this would be Uber making room for autonomous vehicle owners that want to move into the space. Uber is a technology company, the faster they can be used solely for the technology side the happier they will be. And then onto the next disruption that can use their already supercharged platform infrastructure.
