Calvin, I appreciate everything that you've done for this channel. I have been using your techniques of raising my driver rating. I've gotten my Uber rating up to a 4.93. It really has helped me with getting tips and increasing my revenue stream. I really appreciate what you've done thank you so much. Keith Blankenship

Hey Calvin! Man you've help me BIG with my ridesharing from how I dress to show off and represent my ridesharing company to helping me come up with ideas for my ridesharing website. I was working for lyft trying to think of ways to attract guests to me without spending all day on the road and you and your channel has made a HUGE difference for my ridesharing mentality. Thanks a lot man.

Hey Calvin It’s been awhile. Glad to see you are silk adding value to your viewers . Just want you to know that I started driving back in Nov 2016 and I ran across your channel back then. The main tip I picked up and still use to this day was using ways to remind me of what events are going on in my area. I love the fact that you try to let drivers know hat they started a business . To many drivers in my area are hung up on what other drivers are doing. My reason for driving is simple. I supplement my income while networking to expand my other businesses. In 2017 UBER said I made $24K . That was from driving only. Not bad for a side hustle. I’m going to check out your Power Of Publishing site. I noticed your keyboards and monitors in he background. I’m 1 month away from earning an Associates degree in music production. Who knows what might happen. Keep pressing toward your dreams. Peace

Hi Calvin! You inspired me to put up a website that has earned me additional passive income. I also purchased Uber cards for riders to hand out to friends and family. Then, I added other bonuses to the website. One of the biggest things that I learned from you we are Uber business partners. You must treat this as a business so that it will pay you like a business.

Calvin, first and for most, I want to say thank you so much for all the insight, knowledge, and motivation you have given to me. When I first started driving, I was between jobs and was feeling lost. I am engaged and a father of five, so you can imagine the amount of stress that comes with being unemployed. I loved driving and wanted to make this my full time business but living in a small but college town, I was worried it wasn’t possible! Now, after watching all of your videos, my tips have skyrocketed, I’m finishing my website, I have partnered with 15 other companies (and counting) in my city, and have coached a few others on how to become a very successful Uber business owner. Because of what you do, you have inspired me to take this career to a whole new level. I hope to become the best and most well know driver in my city, and hopefully become a big enough name to have an opportunity to meet with you and pick your brain. Thank you so much for not only showing the endless possibilities with Uber, but also helping me through my very tough situation. You inspired me to do something I never thought was possible. You are one of the biggest reasons my family and I are not struggling anymore. THANK YOU!!!

The simple driver has helped me here in MAUI change the game of ride sharing. I’ve share endless stories and tips with other drivers and asked them a simple question, “have you heard of the simple driver?” EVERYONE I have asked said NO.... but after creating content, website, and all the advise that I have learned from the simple driver, it is evident that I make a lot more income than these other drivers and they always ask how. I just tell them, go check my boy Calvin out on the simple driver KZbin channel... your content is life changing if people actually watch your videos and take it serious... thanks for EVERYTHING bro. You gotta let me know when you are in MAUI, ALOHA MY Braddah.

Dear Calvin , you have help me tremendously with my uber business First , you have given me clarity of in understanding of what this can be for a person. Next, you have helped me to grow in confidence in my business and not be ashamed to represent myself as an Uber Business person; not only do I have a web site, but I include my business cards in representation each day everywhere I go. Thirdly, by following many of your simple driver tips, my income has increased and I am more confident and take more pride in what I am doing than ever before. I often times see other people out working, office workers, bus drivers, constructions worker etc etc. Many times these people are in uniform, but I have a uniform too... they always tell me how nice it looks and that they did not know Uber had uniforms for drivers; That sets the stage for a possible conversion, I tell them about the business and my web site, and I give them a card too, which has my web site on it. When I do these things I feel so professional...and they respond to me as If I am. In addition, because of your influence. I have gotten excellent at designing my own uber uniforms and they get great responses from riders and even the uber employees at the Green light hubs...in Philly when I visit there.... And lastly, your work ideas have set me apart from the other and has set me up to move even higher by being motivated, creative and courageous and yes, better organized. In the abstract, I have come to see the beauty of personal responsibility. I can take good care of my families needs everyday and now I am approaching a 200.00 dollar per day earning... I keep myself and my car as immaculate as I can. even though I am right now a "X" driver, but I am pushing that " X" all the way home every day... I seek to work everyday and I really enjoy serving other. I am on a time schedule I start at certain time and end at a certain time; unless riders take me beyond that momentarily. So those are a few of the ways you have helped me... and again, thanks for everything Calvin....you are mentor .. Sincerely, R.Adams " TheDelawareDriver" And Yes, I would love to get copy of that book...

Cal, you were the first “Uber Tuber” that I watched when I had just started driving ride share. I was chasing a sign up bonus at that time, and was still learning the ropes. Man, your videos have been such a great help even though I have not ventured into anything more than actual driving(I have a full time gig, so this is my side hustle). You have helped me in more ways than you will ever know! My driver ratings reflect it as well! This to me is my introduction into entrepreneurship ❤️

Hey Brothe i respect your hustle, you are a gteat communicator. My interpretation of Uber and Luft from my personal experience is of corporate exploitation using the bacls of drivers to subsidize their operations with low rates and dictatorship policies. The gig economy is a move that save corporations 100s of millions and takes 100s of millions from those in the lower class sector. You have multiple skillsets so youre not trapped in depency like many others, who find themselves chasing their tales to survive.

Just wanna start out and say thanks for all the great videos + advice you are a true guru. I just downloaded the app about a week ago and I just received my windshield decal yesterday.. All week I been watching your videos to gain some knowledge before I start to drive. I have been driving over 25 years in the transportation industry (Limousine, taxi, ups, courier) so I know the roads very well even without a gps lol. But, I was also wondering if it wasn't too late for me to do the referral bonus thing... I physically havent hit that (GO) yet so I was curious. I didnt even know it was possible until I saw the KZbin video on it.

I havent done it yet but I will be going to returants and trying to get them to do a referral promotion for me if they received passagers from me. I give out business cards with my promo codes to sign up. I even gave my number to a rider who was going to fully Texas and that was 1.5 hrs away from San Antonio south where there weren't drivers to have him call me when he was done with his business at the end of the week to take him back to the airport and he did. That is about it for now.

Ive been in the transportation business for a very long time. Ive done 10k trips & got to say that ridershare platforms average rates thay srivers earn is close to the rates which taxi and car service drivers made 30 years ago . A full time driver can virtually not make a living at this present time in October 2018.

I learned that I was obviously not getting all of your notifications because the little bell was not clicked and I know in the past, it was. So I made sure to click it again and I'll look forward to seeing your videos again. I know you said you've been away for a while so that probably has something to do with it. I wanted to start my own business, possibly selling Mary Kay or something like that and I figured if I'm doing Uber, that would be a great platform to help me do that and I never would have thought to use as a way of doing that if it was you and the Rideshare professor who I actually unsubscribed from. The content was just getting way too out there for me, I'm not that advanced and was even trying to get away from Uber and I'm still thinking of other opportunities such as going back to work as an optometrist technician because I actually really enjoyed that but either way, there will always be a uber that I can do on the side for extra money and something like Mary Kay so I appreciate that because of you. I also learned what Waze navigation was from you, way back like 6 months ago, that was one of the first videos I ever saw and the reason I subscribed because I like your personality. I did not like the navigation at first and the more used it and really watched your video in depth and learn how to use the navigation to my advantage, I now use it 24/7 so, this is a good time to say thank you whether I get a copy of the book or not. I'm really not worried about the book because I honestly that looks fairly slim so I might give it a Gander LOL, thanks again, it's good to see you again!

Cal, without you I would not be as organized and my biz wouldn't be as streamlined as it is right now. Like links in a chain, ever link strengthens another. Roll on brother. Whats your take on Uber's virtual Non-Referral program? What can we use the web sight for now, if not for referring?.
@TheSimpleDriver6 жыл бұрын
The website can still be used. Just collect emails and display your referral code via an autoresponder. Email is 100% in terms of service, as Uber encourages this within your profile right on their website :-) Nothing changes much as at all :-). I'm in the process of changing my site to just not display my referral code.

I don't know if you heard of Geo, the rideshare revolution but he's been talking shit about you bro, how you're irrelevant on youtube and you hardly drive for uber and sell fraudulent websites, I wouldn't let that stand for too long, I'm at 4.89 with my ratings but lately been running into shitty riders giving uber false reports about car smell, cleanliness and staring at female passengers, really?😩uber needs to stop defending the rider and defend the driver.
