I couldn't sleep so I went on door dash and clicked dash now. It was almost 2am. Right away I got an offer to taco bell 17 miles away, the customer was 1,9 miles from that location, and I would have had to drive 17 miles home. All for a whopping $8.00 I declined Ended dash Went back to bed

My exclusive orders are actually not bad. I usually get 7 to 8 bucks with about 3 or 4 orders a day 15 or higher. But then again I don't decline 90 out of every 100 orders sent to my phone.

I’m done with UE. Last 2 orders I had I got tip baited (I have a 100% satisfaction rating). Until they fix it where you are guaranteed to get what you accept…BYE UE.

Pro Tip: Whenever I get tip baited on UE, I call support and tell them I took the job for the amount shown, and that I would like to talk to Driver payment dept or a supervisor.. They have always paid back the full amount I was supposed to get. I have done this at least 5 or 6 times now. Only once did I have to call back and have to get a different customer service rep, but if you are persistent, they will pay you back what is owed.

What a day. today not only was there a problem with spark .dd now is lowering the payouts on shop and pay .i had one that said 19 dollars 8 miles quantity of 85 items .i will caution everyone to do the math. once u do this, u must think of the time of completion. This one was at aldi. its a small store its always packed. Its hard just to look for the items and pick them. i just say reject it not worth the time .u have to pick an offer that makes sense to u .i seen one for 48 dollars 28 miles to orders. i wanted to do this one so bad but, i was tied up doing another offer. i wanted that one so bad .

Watch out for those double shop and and delivers most of those are trash too especially if it's under 20 bucks. And if you're working catering apps and you get an order and it looks like the tip is really shity compared to the amount of food that's ordered just get rid of that that delivery don't do that delivery you can get rid of the delivery after you accept it

Well said! Same in South Florida! I don't take any of these offers. The percentage of profitable deliveries for drivers is about 10-20%! My average weekly pay is down about 30%! Apparently they're finding drivers to accept these ridiculous offers! What?!!! These drivers allow that to happen!

This is another problem, they the apps, r letting the customers do and that is add ons. If the customer orders 20 items then they add on 20 more items this is a breach of contract. @@SaraElizabethYT your independent. The word independent means you do as you choose to make income, you make your schedule. You decide. You are a middleman that basically signs a contract upon acceptance of order that you deliver said order to said recipient. Accept it or not is your choice based on your rules. These gig apps could technically say you get zero base pay and no tip given upfront and you have to talk to the costomer and arrange compensation for your time. But then each costomer would have the right to view your business stability. How you treat others and they would decide who they get to deliver their order for them based on stats and ratings. Would you prefer it that way. Would you like to be scrutinized and checked off against other drivers in the area to determine if your the right person to take that order. Base pay is your thank you. Your gift from the apps to take that order. Cause it could be a lot worse and has gotten far worse as more complain about base pay. Doordash used to be what $6. People complained it went down. People complained again it went down again. I use to get 2.25 per order. I new at times get 1.25 base pay. It can get alot worse and be a lot worse.

I'm not sure where you do gig work at or live. Open an LLC. Save money. Take out a business loan. Use Uber eats free college to get a degree in business and finances, it will help with a loan. Open a delivery service out of a shop. Hire a person to develop an app and website. Hire drivers to be independent and use your app. Beat the competition. Put out word of mouth you beat the gig apps prices. Instead of complaining be proactive and build your own company. And maybe in time Tony will be calling you offering you a million dollars for you business. Then you can laugh at them from a beach in Maui how you used gig apps to develope a business to in the end sell back to them with all the knowledge you gained from them.

Sara do you get the scheduled Walmart orders under the "opportunities " tab? In Chicago these pickup drop-off don't tell you the mileage. What you get is a pickup time and a drop off by time. The number of stops and the total estimated time. Like this 4 stops (1 pick up, 2 drop offs) Pickup location :6590 grand Ave Gurnee il The drop off locations are shown on a tiny fuzzy map with little details. They tell you it's just a 43 minute delivery and then say Pickup time June 21 12pm Drop off by June 21 8pm Seriously? An alleged 45 min trip and they are giving the driver 8 hours to complete it? Come on now. It doesn't say exclusive although there's a pending app update that I haven't downloaded yet Delivery is $9.76 including expected tip.. Hahahah ummm nope!

Yes, but only take orders that are worth it to you. Basically shoot for at least $1.50 to $2 a mile, minimum . Also not take any order under $6 as most likely there will be no tip, and it will not go up,. Also cash tips are very very rare., so don't expect any.

I don’t think they’re trying anything. It’s just there way of saying no other driver is seeing this order while you are, compared to “trip radar”. It’s been like this for at least over 6 months here is LA.
