Yeh, that's what I would want too. Especially seeing Ubers vs Manshine as I want to see Nagi and Reo improve as they said they would step up next game, they want to get 300mil total between the two and Nagi and Barou are completed opposites in characters and rivals. FC vs PXG would be sad, Rin would just slaughter them

So, I started making this when chapter 239/240 was released, so some stuff may already be wrong for example the salaries I guessed were significantly higher than what they were and some characters like Nanase appeared earlier than expected (had him playing in PXG's third game). Edit: also updated the last videos thumbnail because it was ugly

Shidou played this match because in the first and second bidding auction he had a value of 20 million yen and now a value of 25 million yen so I doubt if his value can increase without playing

I don't think Loki will score since there's not even a need for him to join but if he did then I'm sure he'd play a supporting role because he takes an interest in how Rin and Shidou will win.

Yeh, that's fair I mainly brought it up as a possibility. I do think he will be closer to Noa's teaching than Lavinho or Chris who want to show off plus we've already seen his god speed. Chris and Snuffy also don't need to score but wanted to mention on the off chance they do. I think the most likely option is Shidou (2) and Rin (1) for PXG with Bachira the only goal for FC and for the Ubers match Barou (2) and for Manshine Nagi (2), Chigiri (1)

@@akiraendoji yeah I agree with that mostly, I'm predicting that Loki will be thinking the same way as Ego meaning he separates rin and shidou so Shidou was benched in the manshine game and now Rin will be benched in the next one, so maybe Shidou gets a hat trick or someone else gets a goal too. And this is a super stretch but maybe seeing how creative Shidou is in the box it gives nagi a slight push in reawakening

I'm hoping Loki utilizes the infinite substitution rule and constantly swaps players in and out and so I'm hoping Shidou is the primary carry this match but seeing as how the author is prioritising Rin we'll have to wait and see

I would love to see Barou do what Karasu did to Isagi in the 3rd selection to Nagi. Pile on attacking Nagi's weaknesses so he can evolve talking about how talent is useless if you don't maintain it. It would be a good callback to what Chris said and it would reflect well on Barou as he's the pinnacle of skill through hard work and discipline. Calling Nagi a boring slave to Reo and Reo a slave to Nagi would work well. Chigiri awakening the Hero would also be beautiful. Also MORE SHIDOU PLEASE! PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU! I really want to see his backstory as well as more of Barou's backstory.

Good videos as usual, i was pretty dissapointed on the new salaries, but maybe some salaries are so low to make Igaguri have a chance to get the 23rd biggest salary.

Yeh the salaries are extremely low which was a shock, but that's also a good thing since someone like Igaguri could make it by performing in 1 match. I think the final threshold will be 30M which will be Igaguri's final salary and the 23rd highest just making it

My only concern is if they skip the 4th round salaries then Shidou will have a lower salary than Kuni going into the match, Karasu barely has a higher salary, etc. Atm the only PXG player that seems to have a good salary is Rin so showing the 4th round salary increase can highlight that other PXG players improved in the match.

Totally agree, I also think Manshine will actually beat the Ubers. Nagi and Reo weren't good against PXG so this will be their redemption and we will get to see it from their perspective later on in the spin off manga

It’s gonna be kinda messy for Ubers vs manshine. You would think that barou would be the one to re-ignite nagi’s ego..but not the way you think. Sure, you would think it’d be the episode nagi version where he got pissed at barou and one-upped him. It’ll likely reo will attempt the same goal that isagi did with Hiori, but this time, ubers will be prepared for that attempt and have a counter for that. You can copy it, but you won’t be able to replicate the original, only 99 % of it. With nagi, it’s more like..these two already have beef with each other and they can’t stand each other. I can bet you that if manshine wins with nagi’s “ego” with wanting to kill barou, it’s likely they might get into a fight in the middle of the pitch, recorded for the world to see and Chris having to give up nagi’s position to another benched player. He’ll be benched for Barcha bro, I don’t know why..but I’m feeling someone is gonna get benched.

Reo is gonna do the scoring while Nagi assists so it prob won’t be the direct 1v1 MU like we saw way back in 1st selection. The spin off is already giving us a version of that.

I believe that Manshine will win against Ubers. Then Manhine will lose to Barcha. That way, each team(Barcha, Manshine and Ubers) will have 1 win and 3 losses, making them equal.

Alright, I solved it! Long post, lemme get a vibe check: irl Pep & Manchester just won the Treble using a 3-2-2-3 “box.” Taking advantage of the half space, pushing their attacker all the way up into the half space, looking for their CAM acting as a 2nd striker to be in the half space as well, just for a simple 'cut back and then shoot across’ goal. Bc if you can have your ST, Winger and then CAM overload the box, it’s very difficult for a back line to deal with. More than likely they’re each going to try to close in and shut the closest player down, leaving someone someone’s clear for the cut back pass or shot. Even if they’re not open, they don’t have the manpower to challenge every quick pass or dummy run. I could totally see Manshine City adopting this strategy to take on Ubers, since we’ve seen Ubers struggle with multiple scoring threats at once. If Manshine goes wide, someone might get pulled out of position (like Chigiri has done to Aiku before). Ubers should play more compact bc Lorenzo has to cover too much ground up and down the pitch. They’re overly confident with leaving their defenders to their own devices, like Niko breaking formation is what netted them a steal, but also there wasn’t proper communication on Raichi. Then they left BM’s heartbeat open, the same Ness who got pass Lorenzo in a 1v1. If he can, Reo may be able to as well. I’m also not sure whether or not Lorenzo can deal with Chigiri’s absolute weapon, speed. With the attack looking to push up (LW to Left St, CAM to Right ST, DM to CAM, RB to RMF, etc etc) the CM & CBs can occupy the halfway line. It’s interchanging at all times, which seems to fit a multifaceted forward team like Manshine best. If the ball is on either wing MC doesn't have to worry about a counterattack on the opposite flank. Manshine can leave those lanes empty, bc they’re dictating where the ball is. Agi being the most advanced forward, can drop in and operate like a false 9 to help play the ball further outside the box, coordinating triangle attacks. For defense, Manshine can drop back into to a 4-2-3-1. Just to restrengthen the whole midfield aspect, and keeps their players wide. We know Ubers relies on short passes and triangles, nothing too imaginative with Lorenzo as ball handler. The minute they look to pass to Barou Manshine can capitalize, much like Isagi did. Forcing him to the wing may not be difficult with MC’s speed, strength and vision. Snuffy likes his holding plays, which he may be forced into, due to one ST. Manshine can probably get away with two CBs in the box, with Wingers actings as WBs. Barou has a nice chop dribble, but his agent of chaos act is at risk of being enclosed tbh. It’s better for Manshine to be in a running contest versus a head on collision w Ubers.

Personally I want to see ubers vs manshine in the nagi spinoff and pxg vs barcha in the og blue lock so we’d get some shine on both matches before going into the pxg vs bastard match (it could give some build up to how the other players are doing and shidou could rise up the ranks within his match against barcha)

Yeh, I would want to see both in the main story, I want to see PXG in action besides Rin before the BM game to highlight they have also improved. With Manshine vs Ubers I still want to see it in the main story as the spinoff still probably has a year before it catches up and so I would like a few chapters to show that they are improving once again

I believe that yes Ubers win against manshine, but reo, chigiri and nagi do virtually nothing while nishioka is subbed in for the first time, and proceeds to score 2 goals. I know this is a ridiculous take, but this is the only way to make nishioka relevant. either being subbed in during the ubers or barcha match and scoring 2 goals in one or the other.
