In part 2 we add to the Dram Machine Pro the UniFi POE 24 Port Switch. The SFP+ cable I had purchased did have an issue automatically routing traffic from the DMP to the Switch, but after playing with the settings it took off. I don't know if it was the cable or just a fluke in the software. Either way, I have not had any issues since. Next we will be adding Access Points in Part 3 & 4 so we have wireless access, so follow the links above.

SFP port Auto sensing never works. You have to manually configure the SFP port on the udm and then it'll pick up the switch.

I selected the port and configured it manually to Switching at 1Gbps rather than auto. Then I reset it back to Auto and it started working. I should have shown what I did, so I will do that in my review video!

@@yourpalfranc On the UDM both port 9 and 10 are configured as WAN ports. If you plug into port 11 on the UDM and then either 10G port on the USW24, then it'll auto-negotiate. If you want to use port 10 on the UDM as a LAN port, then you'll have to remap the port manually: help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008365334-UniFi-Configure-Port-Remapping
