You got the Recoil Spring w the red paint. HK has since released a newer spring because the one you have does not like some ammo.That spring is a lil weaker.

Excellent instruction. Now if I could only find a tutorial to safely remove the locking block pin without destroying the polymer frame. Its in there reaaaaaaaal f-ing tight. And it can only be pressed out from the interior of the frame.

Hi _, I'm glad you liked the video and it was helpful. If I ever figure out an easy way to remove that pin, I'll be sure to post a video. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day.
@__-pl3jg3 жыл бұрын
@@UBRArsenal - Thanks, I finally got it. In the manuals exploded diagram its part #9 (Stop Bolt for trigger). It turns out the reason I couldnt get it out was because I had already removed the "Locking Block dowel pin" (#15) and the right side slide release (#19). With those 2 cross members removed the polymer frame flexed too much so I couldnt exert enough pressure to pop out the Stop Bolt. The trick is to remove the Stop Bolt FIRST before removing any roll pins. Once I reinserted the other stuff it stiffened up the frame and I was able to drift the Stop Bolt out using a flat head screwdriver.

Hey Harry! 👋🏾 Just stopping by to check on your channel seeing as tho I haven’t received any notifications. I see that you have uploaded so I’ll catch up with the new ones. BTW, while I’m at it, I figured I’d start with a closer look of the VP9...such a beautiful pistol. The spring cups on the H&K seems a bit easier than that of the Glock. What do you think??
@UBRArsenal4 жыл бұрын
Hey! I'm glad you stopped by to check out my new videos. I would agree the VP9 is an awesome looking pistol. I would say to date the VP9 has the hardest spring cups to remove because the spring is slippery and the spring tension is really high. So I think that's what makes it the hardest to service. Thanks again for stopping bye. It's always good to hear from you.

Why would you take the pin out
@UBRArsenal Жыл бұрын
Hi John, there are a few reasons. If your firing pin breaks or if you get oil in the striker assembly area, just to name a few. Basically it’s for repair or maintenance. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day. 👍🏼🤜🤛

Definitely NOT so simple with the VP .40 strong string with less tolerance.

I'm unclear as to why you want to disassemble the firing pin....
@UBRArsenal11 ай бұрын
One reason would be if you had to replace one of the components for your striker assembly.
