In Europe we are horrified at the US health system. My daughter has been diabetic since aged 4 and gets free insulin for life. My wife has had 3 operations in the last 10 years at no cost. Just don’t understand why to many Americans are frightened of socialised health care paid for out of taxation as in the UK

Seeing it as an opportunity is exactly the problem, its why certain types felt not just the need for panic, but for disaster and they pushed for policies which would ensure it. Vaccine which is 2-5 years away is not even on the table with that time scale. Generous social welfare systems are not viable iwthout heavy restrictions on immigration, the people who want it ensure it cannot happen.
