I love the channel overall! Short, clearly explained techniques that make sense. Helps give me ideas on how to improve my game and things I can add to it.

O, my God! What a great channel! Judging by the essence of knowledge given, by the reasonable amount of used time and especially by amount of cool personal knowhows, i'd humbly suggest this channel to be considered one of subject leaders! Please continue!!!

This was another "I had no idea" moment. I always fell when I did uchi mata. I also fell when I did harai. "Did" is kind of an exaggeration since I never landed either of these two in real matches. In competition, both players often fly when an uchi mata takes place, so I assumed that they were both unbalanced. Now that I think about it, it should have been obvious--you can't generate lift through the rising leg unless the plant leg is stable! Thank you, Israel Hernandez and Travis Stevens!

Awesome channel. Not only does it feature some beautiful technique... but it also covers the gripping / stance / strength / conditioning layers that lie beneath. I've learned a lot. Thank you.

I'm really enjoying the channel. All of these solo drills are especially awesome right now since Covid is a thing, but I train at a jiu-jitsu gym so I find myself trying to get better at Judo alone a lot even in normal times, so getting battle tested solo drills from competitors I can trust to know what they're talking about is awesome.

Love the channel and techniques. Esp as can drill at home. As a junior/20s I had a very good Uchimata. Now 52 yrs old and its pretty much disappeared. I put it down to age and flexibility but I think the video shows leg explosive and core stability will help bring it back. I’ve been cross training bjj for three years so looking forward to trying take downs and maybe with no gi as well. Will make a change from my kosotogari/de ashai - Travis, Any thoughts or videos on judo fundamentals for bjj.? Keep ‘em moving I guess? Thanks for the great content.

Is this from his Uchimata DVD ? I almost bought it but needed to know if the excercises listed to be more explosive in the cover were possible to do alone. Thank´s

If you turn off the sound he looks like an insane man...... Great drills but I would of like to see it done on a uke & more of his basics on foot placement & upper body mechanics. He’s very advanced & this is a drill when you have basic movements down. Useful vidrio for advanced uchimata players.

It might take a few views to get the same technique, I'm not a 100% certain but I think that might be the case. Talk about a good stretchy leg? how about Arash Miresmaeli!
