Roy Dean is a smooth operator. Great instructional!

I've been falling Roy Dean on and off for years. Whenever I couldn't make it to or afford BJJ classes . I turned to youtube and watched plenty of BJJ videos,. Once I came across Roy , he instantly stood out to me , cuz the way he taught just made sense to me.. Not to take anything away from my instructor.

How in the hell does someone get THIS good at jiujitsu?? You've been moving so damn smooth since early colored belt days when i stArted watching you. The way you instruct also is ridiculously awesome

A young man once asked the wind how the canyon was formed, the wind responded with whispers of 10 thousand years. The young man then asked the river how is came to be so powerful, the river told the young man, one drop at a time. The white belt looked at the master and said how does your belt turn black. The master replied,” well, I have a series of videos based on my personal philosophy of BJJ that is backed by the foundations of Helio Gracie and current cutting edge advancements for 189$ with a 40% of black Friday special on my web site😜

His many years of Aikido practice is likely a major reason for his beautiful flowing style throughout his BJJ life. I agree......his smooth (and effective) style is second to none.

I used to feel that way because I used to take side control for attacking. now that I have stronger mount attacks, I fear mount more
@edmondlau5112 жыл бұрын
@@arturofernandez725 I don’t feel stable in mount but I’m relatively light weight. I feel I have more ability to pressure from side control. I really want to seek out instructors who are around my height/weight around 5’6”, 150. I have trained under a few who are 6’2”, 220 and their style of jiu jitsu fits their body type but not mine. 70 pounds is a huge weight difference. In competition, there are weight classes for a reason.
