i am one of those lovely lucky souls with autoimmune hepatitis who had none of the markers for autoimmune but was found on the biopsy. My liver enzymes were elevated, then they would improve and then elevate. it's been a couple of years of this back and forth. But i also have psoriasis. Also, technically the only symptom was the liver enzymes but i have a great deal of arthralgias. My gastroenterologist started me on 20mg of prednisone and so far, my enzymes have gone back to normal. but they do this without the prednisone too. up and down. Now i am waiting to see if i get started on the second drug that biologic for autoimmune. fun times.
