Defense has improved and since Hurley cut the rotation down you’re seeing more consistent play because of this. If the rotation had more veterans you could keep it going but because the subs are still getting going you can’t keep doing it. However you can still try for shorter stretches and see if they’re better at producing quicker results than waiting longer for progress. That’s the biggest problem with having a deep bench. They have to produce right away or you can’t have the big of a rotation. Would like to see some better outside 3’s tomorrow. Still have to keep feeding Reed down low, but get him to try and pass out of it if they start to collapse on him. Need Aiden to get the funk off of him and make some adjustments. His Psyche is in a mixer!!!!!!!

UConn knows all too well how it feels to lose to Unranked Teams. The Colorado loss really Sucked ! UConn doesn't want that feeling again, anytime soon or ever ! Go Huskies 👊

Could be a trap game, stay and angry

Game is a classic “trap” game. Road game. Noon EST start (I think 11 am local time). Coming off emotional win at home. Young team. Big East contest. As is always the case, UConn will get the best Butler imaginable. They will be jacked up in a historic gym. Last game before holidays. Look for a lot of Butler 3’s to fall that wouldn’t normally fall against other teams. I really would not be surprised if they lose. This has Creighton/Seton Hall vibes from last season. You know Hurley knows this. Hopefully he’ll figure out how to get a “W”. It would make for a nice holiday week. If I were a gambler, however, I’d take Butler, maybe even outright.
