UConn's recruiting class: Future stars or just hype?

We still need at least one more big. If Jana goes out for any reason, long term or short, our tallest player is Ice at 6'3". Granted we have a lot of players over 6 feet, and the game is changing, etc. but when players get tired at crunch time, tall players don't get shorter. It's been ages since we've seen UConn really dominate down low.

@@billsimmons3469 -- no, we don’t need another big. Janet is 6’5 with a 6’8” &1/2 wingspan. She led the 19 World Cup in scoring last summer. And Sarah strong is (the number one pick in this year‘s draft) and she 6’2. Plus, we have ice Brady at 6’3. That’s enough for UConn. If you listen to Geno’s interview on storrs central, he says he likes to go with all guard lineup. So 2 highly skilled Biggs is enough

Jana will start. Paige, Jana, and Sarah will start. There is NO WAY Ice Brady starts instead of Jana. Never. Jana’s offensive skills are light years ahead of Ice’s-and Jana can be Big-East rookie of the year and an all-American this year. She could score 20+ PPG this year. She led last years U-19 World Cup in Spain, in scoring with 26+PPG.

@@ronmartin4244 why not? Jana was just playing full contact in June and in the beginning of September. Her Achilles is fine. What is this a new injury? When did he say she wasn’t playing or did he just imply it because I never heard him say that. What injury does she have?

Thanks for your effort. A bit of criticism, if you're going to do the Uconn Women, please learn how to pronounce their names. You butchered Carolyn's last name (the "e" is silent) and Allie's last name (Zah bel, not Zi bel). Otherwise, I appreciate you taking on this task of putting out content on the women's team.
