If Aubrey had a mid range jumper she would be lethal....I sing her praises all the time on here....Again.. Aubrey Griffen is the most underrated, under appreciated player in women's D1....Not many players can run the floor like her. If I were a WNBA scout I would take a long hard look at her.

She is a game changer for sure. She can rebound with the bigs and run the floor with the guards. If she packed a bit more muscle on her frame she could play the 4 spot a bit easier. She does great now, but a bit more muscle and could hold her own with the likes of Morrow and Reese.

Best game for team performance in this new 4-G set. Lots of movement, lots of 3s and drives to the hoop. Very good D with Paige doing her Wonderwoman thing again (4 blocks!). Aaliyah is very very very accurate. I'd have liked to see K.K. and Ashlynn make a few more 3s. The offense narrowed down a bit to the more experienced players. The players seem to enjoy this kind of game. I'm watching for player contact, and so far we don't have anyone getting injured just because of the speed of play. That's especially good news.

I played football my entire life, played it, ate it, lived it. That being said, I learn so much from these lady announcers about basketball. For instance one of them was explaining the difficulty for a real number four position player staying with a Guard like Paige. That's just one of a plethora of things I have learned. Lovin' it.

Muhl's decision making will play an important role every game; and to think Geno wants to start her, she needs to be mindful with all these turnovers. Just like the turnover she did on 24:05. It's frustrating and infuriating; but she'll get better as the season progress.

Ice rebounds well and has a nice 3pt shot. Her inside game isn't yet as strong. Her defense is pretty good though. Q is good on defense, and it's her offensive game that needs work.

This game is why comments were way too harsh in the first 5 or 6 even 7 games. So many changes for this program in terms of Bueckers coming back (that means big adjustments for Muhl); 4 freshman who have to learn how to play NCAA div 1 basketball, and learn a team game at UConn like they've never experienced; just a lot of stuff for Coach and staff to coach and teach; it's coming; incremental improvements; my opinion, but the biggest improvement I saw in this game was spacing on the floor on offense, much more room for everyone to get a path to the basket (either by drive or jump shot); defensively the switches were more crisp, and helpside was more dependable; improvement is happening, long way to go

UConn has several players who can shoot a 3 or go to the basket well, so good spacing gives them more opportunities. Once Q develops a wing game, the team will be just that much more dangerous.

I wish Aubrey had at least a mid range shot, if she was a even a mediocre shooter from 3 pt range she would be a top 10 pick. I don't think people realize how hard it is to get 25 down while being a poor shooter.

She's a strange mix of athleticism which lets her defend on the perimeter, but also to rebound and shoot inside. She knows what she can do well and that makes her consistent. Great team player, though you don't often see her making an assist (odd, really).

The Good: My girl Aubrey will not be denied lol. Bueckers and Edwards were efficient. Still love Arnold's intensity. The Bad: Nika had 8 TOs. I rather watch Deberry play than Brady. And Samuels was shooting lights out 1st few games. Lost her touch lately.

Paige is letting loose the kraken to lead by example. The rest of the team (frosh mostly) have to follow. K.K. is doing very well and I liked seeing her shoot a couple of 3s. It takes time to get used to shooting them in a game. If she and Q get their complete games together, they ll be fantastic. Q made a great baseline drive, but the defense collapsed on her (probably literally). Nika did some very good things, but I think other teams have learned to keep an eye on her. The assists aren't as easy now. She'll get going and the TOs will go down.

The team played great. I worry Geno will try to force Nika into an important game or moment though. She still struggled a bit with the press in this game. Bueckers and Arnold looked a lot better when Louisville tried to press late.

Geno switched to (what is essentially) a 4-Guard offense with Edwards at center and Ice coming off the bench at times to either take the C position or to double with Aaliyah for a while. It's mostly just getting the right offensive scheme and lineups.

The beginning of this was hilarious, with the announcer saying PB was putting up a POY candidate...I don't think so! As a UCONN fan, it hurts to say that but there are way too many people with better stats than what PB has. However, UCONN played really well. If I wanted to find a flaw it would have to be so mediocre that I would say Amari and Ines could have had more playing time...that's digging deep.

Are you dumb? Do you not see Paige’s efficiency? You realize Paige won POTY as a freshman not leading the country in scoring right? You can’t be a UConn talking like this. POTY isn’t just about stats. Paige is on a team with other players who she has to share the basketball with. Mind you this is the level she is playing at after missing almost 600 games. The fact that Paige just tied Maya as the quickest players in UConn history to score 1,000 considering the games Paige has missed is insane. And I’m probably Maya Moore’s biggest fan.

@@politeia1999 Hanna Hidalgo dropped 31 against SC. Alissa Pili dropped 37 against SC. Juju Watkins has been putting up 30 pt games and looking like Luka. Zoe Brooks just notched a triple double in her first start. As well head to head PB got outplayed by Rivers and Harmon. Not sure how she's looking POY worthy.
