How good for these people, they will finally have the opportunity to lead a truly normal life away from this disease and also, it will help the treatments with CRISPR-Cas9 (and its lesser known CRISPR family, such as CRISPR-Cas13 for example ) becomes well known to people (although it sounds a bit bad, since this is also being used to publicize these products, but I think it is necessary for CRISPR). Thanks to all the scientists and doctors who worked and continue to work to make this possible.

I have a son who is 7 years of age and has had some serious problems at a young age. I watched him code blue multiple times. I wish I had more information about this. I will do more research.

I've the feeling it can cure beta thalassemia trait... if it can cure this(sickle cell) it can work on beta thalassemia minors as well.
