Good information 👍 Main sara khana mitti ke bartan me hi banati hu even sari mithaiya bhi. 1 year se use kar rahi hu. Abhi tak ek bhi pot kharab nahi hua. Main pot ke back side pe mitti ka layer banati hu jis se uski life bad jati hai. Everyday sunlight me bhi rakhti hu jis se pot me se koi smell bhi nai aati.

Geetaji maine local dukanse miitti ka black colour ka handi type pot liya hai,uske andar chipkali ghus ke nikli toh man me dar baitha hua hai agar zahar hua toh toh kaise clean aur use karu bataiyega plz lock down ke 4 din pehle liya tha par chipkali ke vajah se abhi tak use nahi kiya plz detail me bataiyega

Hello Sir. You have explained everything in great detail and precision. your video is one of the best on KZbin in this specific area. I had two doubts- 1.I am afraid that if I use a pot like this for preparing sweets.. kheer etc, the pot will absorb the malai/cream/ghee and get sticky . It is very normal in Indian sweets to use ghee and malai, will be pot be good for Is it possible to clean such a greasy pot with no detergent ??? 2. How to maintain the pot in Rainy season when there is moisture in the air and the pot may not dry completely after use. We can always heat and dry it, but u said not to heat it empty. Will it gather germs etc, if not dried properly. This is my biggest fear.

Maine high flame me sometimes use kiya h it won't break but ya for taste always ho for low and medium. And clay pot ki life hi kam hoti h 3-4 months. Last please buy from local vendors or from roadside u can get it at very cheaper rate 1/4 or less.

I am also looking for answers to this question. I saw a YT video where the presenter used a wire net and she placed the clay pot on it . So the wire net becomes hot, and then it transfers heat to this clay pot. But I assume this process will delay the cooking time .

Thnx.. don't use it now. As it may break in half spilling hot items out. U must have added cold water in hot kadai or heated it high flame.

Tkusm.. hum ne clay matki ko 12 hrs soak bhi nahi kiya tha aur oil bhi nahi lagakar rakha tha..kyunki nahi pata tha....humne pehle cauliflower ki sabzi banayee without oil use kiye hue...phir.humne millets banaye, slow cooking ki thee, andar se bahut burn ho gaya hai...ab usmein kuch bhi bana lein, burn kj smell bahut aati hai...plz batayein Jale hue ko kaise clean karein.. Dahi perfect jamti hai 8 hours mei. Mei bahut saal se dahi jamati hu ordinary choti handi m. Purchase karne k baad water m bhigo de 12-18 hours. Dahi jamana hai to lassi (chach)daal k chod de 12-18 hours. Ek baat special dhyan dene wali hai ki dahi k bartan ko use karne k baad dho ker dhoop m rakhe. Is se usme काई (फफूंद)nahi hogi aur khatti smell bhi nahi aayegi
