i've been through 4 of the first bag, final one was a different iteration but still wore out too quickly... switched to a magma DJ backpack and its already lasted me the same amount of time as 2 of the UDG's without a hitch & i'm confident it will last longer that all 4, never going back

UDG was pretty shitty to me when it came to honoring their warranty. The stitching on the headphone pouch become undone over time and I only ever put headphones in them. They claimed I must have had something heavier in there and they would not honor their warranty and said “I got my money’s worth” because it had been a couple years since I bought it (but I was still inside the warranty window). The bag held up well other than that and even the headphone pouch was still usable. I was really turned off by their customer service though so I will not be buying another of their products.

what do you recommend for fitting a laptop and battle mixer + laptop stand and all the other accessories?

I'm going to cut a small hole in my Tumi backpack so I can run the USB cable to charge my phone while the bank is hidden inside. Great idea!

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately it's a painted wall so not too easy to change quickly. Will definitely keep that in mind for future reviews though.
