Looks like it digs to the belly pan and aqua Plaines. So stable . You have a drag combo set up . Now MAMBA with wheel extensions. Can't tear up that boddy

the pin that holds the drive shaft to the out drive on my front right came out 2nd run! Lost it in the sand for sure. Surprised to see that happen so quick, but at least it was a cheap replace. This is my new favorite truck! definitely worth it over 6s short course. Way to go losi! They do need some paddles for it thouh!!! sell out instantly

Hey exo, so I cut the bedsides to make them removable and put a set of xmaxx paddles in the back with the stock wheels up front. There are the same height so no issue there. Hooks really good in the sand, especially out here in glamis. Might wanna give that a shot. Love the vids💪

Did you have to change the hexes?
@gasolinediesel9723 жыл бұрын
You sure they weren't erevo paddles? The xmaxx tires have a larger wheel hex and are also bigger than the stock sbr tires.

Idk man the Xmaxx tires have a lot of offset, 24mm hex and would take a bunch of work to make happen.

Yep mental machine, watching the excessive movement of the cage and spare wheels, a brace is needed. I think the truck would have driven just as good as it did on the paddles as the stock tyres. I have the clone and the tread is different and maybe better than the stock V1 tyres, which I have on a set of six Vitavon alloy beadlock wheels which work well in sand a bit better than the SDT clone ones but the clone tyres are better on loose dirt and grass.

2 minutes in. That SBR probably shredded those paddle tires. My UDR only got 2 runs out of mine before they were useless. A company "Top Tuning" makes 24 mm conversions and would allow you to use a set of 1/5 scale paddles. The original SBR and SRR axle nuts work perfectly. The 24 mm conversion is about $25. I can't remember exactly as I purchased them about 3 years ago.
