In a 2v2, depending on how they implement it, its different. Deal one to each nexus could mean you and one opponent, instead of all of them. For example, in a gamemode where you play vs one and your partner plays vs another one but they can trade cards or something, kind of like that 2v2 mode that TFT had

It's interesting to me that the Transform effects don't have to be on the turn you play them. If you have a few if these down, your board is one Pokey Stick away from being really scary.

The different wording is for futue arcetypes, we will get a "when you heal an ally to full" effect that only triggers on "healing an ally to full" but not "fully heal an ally". It will make total sense, believe me, my uncle works at Riot.

@@pedrovskidantini2324 The "healing an ally to full" vs "fully heal an ally"? Its genuinely hard to understand, even as a native speaker, but my guess is the amount of actions. "Healing to full" is just the process of healing their HP up to max, over however many turns or actions it takes, while "Fully heal an ally" implies it needs to be done in a single action. Realistically though, there isn't any difference between the two because I genuinely can't think of a situation where that difference in action number matters at all. It's just a really weird case of "Why go out of the way to change it, when the old method is perfectly fine to use?"

I think it’s udyr because he is a shaman. Also the transform thing pairs with gnar being his yordle partner. I would like to see udyr transform into a new form each round start then give you an aphelios style branching choices of your next form in a way where you have to rotate them all to level up.

I think those cards are Volibear's followers, Udyr is a Shaman, but he is also a Hermit, he lives alone and has no followers, at least in the old lore that is his story.

There's a subtle regional consistency to the word usage. ALL (in all caps) tend to be in Frejlordian descriptions (ie. It that stares, avalanche, etc) Whereas PnZ cards have a lot more 'each player' or 'each nexus' descriptions, which I feel like kinda play into the respective region's 'cultural aesthetics'. Maybe a bit of stretch, but Frejlord's usage of ALL, may be a reflection of their more egalitarian social structure/ideology, whereas the usage of 'each' in PnZ emphasises more of its, uhh, let's just say, technocratic capitalism. (Whatever it is that you get more of in Frejlord, is the same for everyone, but what you get more of in PnZ is very individualized.)

I think "ALL Nexuses" implies that it isn't limited to just you and your opponent, but also deals 1 to the nexus of every other player currently in a match. This could have some very interesting implications for the future of competitive LoR, and for stream snipers.

As a lore nerd I'll say Udyr doesn't transform, he calls the guardian spirits of Freljord to help him, combining Freljord shamanistic rituals and Ionian commune martial arts. On the other hand The Volibear is a Freljordian spirit guardian whose powers include transforming his followers into beasts, even reaching mutations in the Warhammer's chaos god style

In animistic religions that actually have shamans, invoking animal spirits is usually still referred to as transforming, it's just not a physical transformation like with the Ursine. This is usually regarded as a kind of spiritual transformation, with altered mental state. And in those religions its often thought that more dangerous or violent animal spirits can very much take over, which is what inspired Volibear.

In the lore, (this is what I remember) Volibear is like the boss of all the animal spirit channeling shaman and created this cult called the Ursine. While Udyr is like one of the shamans but trying to save them and stop them. (again, this is what I remember) So it could be Volibear or Udyr really. Also, it make sense that they need to plunder cuz probably Gnar's pack is related to Impact.

Im thinking Udyr as well. Volibear was a Shaman before his rework. Hes now a demigod on the level of Anivia and Ornn. These followers seem closer to spirit shamans and Udyr is supposed to be an extremely powerful Shaman, which is why he channels the demigods themselves, not just the animals

YES please swim please try to do a vlad deck. also, i did used 1 copy of ursine spirit walker on my turbo vlad scargrounds deck due to the overwhelm aura considering how easy it is to grow, and 1 copy of that one trifarian draw lady. that 2 mana unit will make it so the crimsom disciple efect would be added 6 times to the draw probability instead of just 3 times
