is it possible with a video file instead of a image file ?
@floorpeas6 жыл бұрын
You could separate/offset the red and green in the shader as well as flicker the image in shader using a dynamic property and noise for flicker amount. Then you could just use one light. It would be much, much cheaper.

HI May I ask how to make the projector show up image in rectangle shape?
@AndriSve2 жыл бұрын
you cant, the rect light works differently and you cant change both horizontal and vertical barn door individually because whatever moron that designed it made it that way, now the barn door angle is broken since it doesn't maintain its aspect ratio, if you have a rectangle it turns into a perfect square once you try to change the angle, so in other words, it can never be like an actual projector that increases in size.

Woow! Cool. I had an question, how can I project a Rectangular Image like that? whenever I use Spotlight I'm getting a Circular Image projection

Top tutorial that deserve like and sub! 2 question: can the same process be applied with a rectangular light? If I want to have more than one projector with different images is there an easy way to duplicate and change the image instead of rebuilding the whole BluePrint? Super well done

Great video so professional But can you do one with a video instead of an image.. Like a movie projector. Or an effect from a TV casting light..
@underscore006 жыл бұрын
Sure can :) I'm working on a video where I address a bunch of questions at once from all my videos so far, and this is something I'll be covering. Thanks!

Hey @underscore, I am working on an ancient architecture viz. project. I want to simulate projected video walls as an art installation. In Unity i would simple make a light project the image as emissive light path. BUT Im struggling in UE. I followed your solution but the image remains black and white. Though I can split the lights into RGB properly. What am I missing? Do you have any intel?
