I really love my UES flannels. 4-5 fits me perfectly, and they have some nice colors and patterns. Good bang for buck.

I usually buy Pendleton flannels. They got a perfect fit but the one you’re wearing looks really good on you.👍 I have to look into those next Thanks for the review.

I have that red ultra heavy UES flannel too. I am 182cm and 75kg - size 40-42 chest. I got it in size 3 and it fits well, I think size 4 could also work for layering - the difference is not much. It is very comfortable flannel

They are comfortable flannels, and this heavy 15.5oz, I believe, is top-notch!!

Totally agree Diego. I love UES and they make the best flannels for the price IMO.

In my opinion, I believe this flannel needs more attention

Another great review, Diego! Absolutely love the fabric quality of UES flannels, just not a fan of the design/colours. Having said that, I don't really like the design/colour of Iron Heart or other flannel producing brands either. In my experience it's very rare to find an understated, classic colour+design scheme in flannel. Occasionally a buffalo check or blackwatch comes along that has just the right combination of substance and subtlety but more often than not even those most elemental of designs end up being overworked or badly executed. Examples include additional linear patterns, bad check proportions, bad contrast between colours...or worst of all more colours than are needed. The closest I've got to date was an import from Sugar Cane. Probably sits between a UES and Iron Heart price-wise.

Sugar Cane is something that need more attention, are good quality flannels. I agree with you in terms of paterns, maybe more solid colors can make the difference.

UES do make very nice flannels. I have two myself, cant really fault them. Granted not quite the density and softness of Iron heart, but significantly cheaper, and still very nice quality.

Exactly!!! Quality/price are the best Japanese flannels!!

I prefer the heavy flannels. I’m 6ft 180. I wear size 5. The non heavy flannels are too short

Diego, could you name the sites in Japan your using?, as the prices you mention are really good.
@UrbanLadUK9 ай бұрын
Bears Japan shop has a good selection of UES, Hinoya and Denimio. These are the most convenient places for different Japanese brands, they convert to dollars and pounds but are still worth it

@@UrbanLadUK cheers, I've heard about Denimio but always been reluctant to try somewhere so far away.

You are not going to pay more than the price tag on the website 👍

As a gym goer my favourite fit is tailored so it only bit less than regular fit but a bit more roomy than a slim fit. this way if i put on a few pounds of muscle it looks like a slim fit but then if i lose a few pounds of muscle it looks like a regular fit.
