GSP is just mesmerizing to watch. Seriously, I could watch this guy train all day and never get tired. He is the living embodiment of physical and mental perfection. Every inch of his body is so perfect. That’s why he’s the greatest in MMA, NO ONE comes close!
@DatChanimal12 жыл бұрын
Forreal. He does this stuff because for one, it's a damn good workout and his made him incredibly strong. And two, because he CAN. He is a beast and needs new workouts so he doesn't get bored with the same monotonous shit other small-time fighters do.
@houghtonization11 жыл бұрын
don't you understand the whole point of this video !!?? GSP is already a top class wrestler. so he is doing a sport he's never tried before (gymnastics) to bring unused potential out of him and make him an even better wrestler//fighter all round. I hope you understand.

wellllllll not necessarily. Keep in mind we don't know how far into the day this is for GSP. We are unaware of any training he might of done prior to this vid that has him feeling fatigued, or if what we just saw was part of a multiple set workout, and he is deep into the sets. Trying to do that after maybe, track sprints or squatting/deadlifting would be no easy task.

Like you said, gym is the most demanding sport on the body. However, that is the reason why i think he should do something else. I want to see Gsp's career last a bit longer. He also has high demand training in wrestling, kickboxing, bjj, weights, and additional conditioning workouts. The extra wear from gym plus his normal routine and aging process will lead to more injuries. He should change to less demanding stuff like swimming or yoga which can be intense and great for conditioning, too.

Hes probably one of the FEW in the UFC that can do this,not saying hes the only one. GSP GSP WARR
@Hoecktor12 жыл бұрын
Don't forget, GSP has probably already been working out and doing plenty of other gymnastic training before this video, so surely he's already fatigued (just look at how heavy and slow his legs are towards the end...if you've ever watched his sprinting videos, you know how fast he really is)

that's too bad. I guess we have more people training for skiing and snowboarding here in canada so our gymnastics gym's have opened up. The UK seems to have more of a lively parkour / free running scene though. Where does everyone train?

I'm sorry, I almost agree, but have you ever heard of motocross? Don't get me wrong, I know why GSP is doing gymnastic work, and he truly is a step above the rest of the UFC/Strikeforce/Dream, our MMA coach insists on it too for all round conditioning and strength. But as an MX rider as well, I can honestly say that 2 hours of pure punishment on a bike is a lot worse than 2 hours of gymnastics. The conditioning and strength needed for MX and freestyle is unlike any other

yeah, but I'm not talking only about this video, I find GSP pretty stiff in his movements, especially compared to the likes of anderson silva and jon jones for example. Dont get me wrong GSP is one of if not my favourite fighter, but again even the fatigue factor away, he's not "going with the flow" but rather trying to power up through the motion, forcing it rather than feeling it

Gymnastics is about good movement, they spend 15-20 years training just to compete, top fighters like GSP understand that gymnastic movement is superior because it is taught in a progressive long term way. Gymnastics goes back to ancient greece and then rome as basic training for soldiers.

Nick Diaz has a chance to win...but then again, so would you. Anything can happen, and Diaz is a very dangerous fighter. But GSP is going to finish him on the ground. Some aggressive stand up to start, and then some ground and pound from side control. 3rd round stoppage. Perhaps by cuts.

I like how firas is more naturaly gifted XD just proves that GSP is a hardworker, whe nyou see him move, it's obvious that he has a rythm problem and is quite stiff, it's like seeing some white people dancing they have no groove, but he compensate with hard work
