Zahabi I have seen all of Alvarez fights and in almost every fight he becomes wild with his striking. And I think he will do the same in the Conor fight. I know you said that Alvarez has clean boxing and that he grew up in Philly but that does not make someone a skilled boxer. Working with high level boxers and being a high level boxer is two different things.

And this is dangerous against Conor for sure. This is why I'm picking Conor to win in the first 8 minutes.
@MrFantasticIam8 жыл бұрын
Emer4 A I completely agree with you. I believe his wrestling helps him win most of his fights, together with his heart and determination. However, Conor is very precise with his shots, even the ones he misses tend to check his opponents reaction. I cannot see Eddie winning this fight and soon he'll be forgotten. As Conor stated he is only relevant because he holds the title.

Yo Firas! whats up, greetings from Manchester, England. This is a comment in response to your last video where you inquired about altitude training and the general synopsis concerning this principal with athletes. I am a recent university graduate holding a degree in Applied sport and exercise science and have written many papers and essays on this training principal. Firstly i would like to point out that the general literature surrounding this topic, in short, haven't been completely optimized to attain absolute maximum results, although findings suggest that the collected data would translate accordingly if the perfect test study were to occur. However, that being said, i can tell you that a generalization of the literature depicts that Living High and Training High, Living low and training high and living low and training low are all principals which are inferior to Living high and training low. Concluding, LIVING HIGH and TRAINING LOW is the way to train if you wish to improve the overall cardiovascular response to exercise. Keep up the good work love your vids! peace

Hey Firas, please you've gotta do a post-fight analysis for RDA vs Tony Ferguson. I was with you on RDA winning, what happened? Tony looked like he had some holes in his game from the Barboza and Lando Vannata fights, sth was quite off with RDA do you think? Was it because RDA was not himself, or did Tony patch up the holes in his game, or does RDA just does not have the type of strikes like Barboza and Vanatta for Tony's style.

This is a hard one to predict because this is Conor at his optimum weight. Does that mean he goes up another level, or just a notch? How well does his power translate from 145 to 155, how does his overall level of strength compare to others at 155, how is his gas tank at 155 etc. etc. etc. We'll know a lot more about Conor after this fight. Mostly good IMO.

Mr zahabi, would you agree or disagree with this statement? Has the ufc manipulated or protected Conor throughout his career? I think he has fought the best available for the most part. Its not his fault that people have pulled out. I do think the stars have aligned in his favor at times.

Why does everyone think Eddie is so short? They're both 5'9" (Sherdog has Conor at 5'8").
@awesomebuns8 жыл бұрын
eddie is for sure shorter than mcgregor
@WhoDoYouThinkYouAreIam0278 жыл бұрын
Nyree Saad Eddie is about 5'7 if I had to guess, Mcgregor had a clear height advantage on him at their face off during the first 205 press conference. RDA is 5'8 and was slightly taller than Eddie
@kresimirtrgo48048 жыл бұрын
Nyree Saad conor is 5 10 i think
@mshartmany8 жыл бұрын
UFC has them both at 5'9". Unless they're barefoot, a face off comparison isn't worth much.
@WhoDoYouThinkYouAreIam0278 жыл бұрын
Nyree Saad the UFC's height measurements are pretty inaccurate for the most part. It even had Conor listed as high as 5'11 in his fight against Brandao. Mcgregor is somewhere between 5'8.5 and 5'9, and Eddie is likely 5'7ish. He's not short, but he's shorter and has a shorter reach than Mcgregor for sure

@kiamatoro1238 жыл бұрын
Chris Harvey your and idiot. Not one reason you gave why eddie will win. Cussing me out on youtube just makes you a mad keyboard warrior.... about the hype of rousey ..Conor and rousey are completely two different people conor didnt go crying to the ellen show saying he considered suicide... after his loss he went rigt back to training and got that win back!
@marfyfingers8 жыл бұрын
kiamatoro123 ok bubba meet you back here after he loses ok? keyboard warrior? im on a tablet for 1, 2 conor has no ground game or jujitsu skills all his fights are stand up , then your talking about a guy in his gym running his mouth about what conors training, you dont run your mouth about that its disrespectful imo it is a secret because if eddie knows his game plan , fight over conor loses. Also YOU know nothing about martial arts , Conor has no honor....wow the irony.... hes a one trick pony ! So by all means you and your bandwagon keep on truckin.
@kiamatoro1238 жыл бұрын
Again, you have nothing to back up he'll win. Eddie has highchool wrestling not as impressive as chad. Conor has a brown belt in jui jitsu, eddie has no bjj belt. all his fights have not been tand up. Go look at is earlier ufc fights... you talk about if eddie knows your gameplan its over..what if conor knows his game plan which will be wrstling him to wear him out? then conor wins right? nice logic. Eddie is not te same eddie from bellator or dream he not the same guy who fought chandler, hes had too many wars. He repeatedly performs bad against taller guys who have reach advantages and are good with distance. conors gonnna be a nightmare for him... mark failed frankie, Now history will repeat in two ways . Mark fails eddie and conor becomes 2 WEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION UFC HISTORY

Conor is great and all, but I think you are overexaggerating about his left hand. It's not something too special like Hendo's H-bomb for example, but he is very precise with it, has a great timing and hits hard as well. But don't think it's something supernatural from what I have seen, it only seems so from his fights against much smaller dudes!
@nidge188 жыл бұрын
You can't compare a Conor punch to a Henderson punch because they're 40 lbs apart. That's why the male HW division is mostly finishes and the lower divisions go to decision a lot more. There's only 10 lbs difference between FW & LW and I think Conor's going to prove exactly how small of a gap that is against Eddie. Big shots, big damage, early finish. Two belts.
@boogiemonster20388 жыл бұрын
Nikola Spasojevic thats why Firas gets paid for his opinion and you don't lol
@nikolaspasojevic32778 жыл бұрын
You guys are idiots. I am not comparing his punching power to Henderson's, but the impact it has. If Hendo hits anybody with an overhand right flush - they are going to sleep no matter what! But, from what we've seen, McGregor hit Diaz with his best shots and some of them where clean on the chin and he was never close to putting him away and Nate came back to beat his ass. I know what you will say: It's Nate Diaz, he has a legendary chin. It's kind of true, but still. Look at his fight at featherweight division. His only KO is against Aldo - who rushed Conor with his chin up and ate a left hand, flush on the chin. All the others were TKOs. Not saying he doesn't hit hard, he does for sure. But it's really not something mythical! And you know it, it's the truth!
