I think Masvidal gets the title shot next. UFC hoping Covington wins to make a huge fight. If McGregor comes back and wins I think that is the best fight to make. Worst case scenario is Masvidal vs Usman. I think that is a tough fight for Masvidal but then again he looks unstoppable right now. Those are the only fights I see unless something weird happens.

Till vs. Cannonier or Till vs. Whitaker? Are you guys crazy. Dana White just got done saying they moved Till up the rankings way too fast, and threw him into the fire too soon. Till needs at least 2 more fights, minimum, before his confidence is back. By his own admission, he is not as confident as he used to be, and he isn't fully mentally ready for fighting. Till said he thought about "faking an injury" to avoid Gastelum. Clearly he needs some time to build back up, and practice more of his new defensive skills. Whitaker and Cannonier are in their prime, at their peak, and mentally razor sharp. I don't think either man is the right match for Till yet. Make Chris Weidman vs. Till at 185 pounds. You could also do a Wonderboy vs. Till rematch at 185 pounds for an interim title shot at Adesanya. Till or Wonderboy vs. Adesanya would be a fan friendly fight and a spectacle.

Masvidal doesn't want to face Usman or Colby. Those are fights that are difficult to win, and Masvidal doesn't need a title to make money at this point. He will fight McGregor or Khabib next, guaranteed. This is the fight McGregor needed, and Masvidal finally put himself on McGregor's radar. McGregor has just called him out, finally. Also, Masvidal is the only man equal to McGregor, in terms of trash talk. It's a promoter's dream.

Dang Luke hating on Nate big time here. I agree Masvidal had a great performance and the highest possibility was a Masvidal decision victory if the fight would’ve kept going, but Nate truly doesn’t need Conor anymore. We’ve seen that the last two fights now. Conor will always be semi-tied to Nate’s name, but in many ways Conor needs Nate more at the moment. Nate could fight whoever he wants and it will be a huge draw, because he didn’t lost completely clean tonight. If Nate would’ve gotten knocked out I would side more with you. We’ll agree to disagree.
