Nice combo starter, will have to try that out. The ranked points system is flawed in multiple ways such as people being trapped at the bottom divisions on big win streaks, getting positive OWC points when losing to someone with a lot more points (at div 17, I lost to Goony Boy who has 3k points yet I still gained a couple points), and the rampant intentional DNFs to save points. It is one thing for it being too difficult to detect whether the player has lost their connection intentionally or naturally, but these players are straight up quitting through the in-game menu and getting a flat 30 point penalty. The abuse of this flaw is how some, maybe most, of the top 100 players climb the ranks. I hope EA does something to combat this. At the same time, it would be very frustrating to lose as a div 20 to a skilled div 0 player doing their placement matches. I feel, if possible, there should be stricter matchmaking in general in terms of points proximity, as well as little to no penalty when fighting placement div 0 opponents.

I totally agree with this, and thanks for the feedback. In future titles, I see now there is a lot of feedback including this that I will pass forward. I'm collecting all the issues. And yes losing a match should be at most a net zero. And good point of you just quit through the in-game menu that's definitely a clear violation

They need to tax players for dnf and buff points for “completed fight”. Problem solved! Sadly prob won’t see a change till ufc 5 cause they will prob use that as leverage for a reason to buy the game lol

Yea I agree with people in the comments from what I read, they needa take away more points for dnf. Yea it kinda sucks that if your internet goes out ya gonna lose points but how often does that happen, maybe a couple or few times max per year. We also have seasons on ufc so if your internet screwed you, you always can start over the following season. Everything can’t be perfect, it is what it is, that’s how I would look at it if they decided to tax dnf’s as much as a loss.

DC should count for more, even if it's accidental. If your internet is going out consistently you shouldn't be playing ranked in the first place.

Yes it doesn't matter tough luck if you back out of a ranked match for any reason you should loose a ton of points to many players are abusing this and if EA won't do that then atleast give the person that didnt quit out their full points instead of robbing them. I've beaten some high ranked players and they just quit out and rob me of my well deserved points I can't even climb up division cause every player I beat quits out and I barely receive any points I'm so close to saying screw ranked

I will not say UFC 3 was far better than UFC 4, however, I recalled EA being more involved with UFC 3 by putting out patches and adding new gameplay Technique and take downs.UFC 4 has been left in the dark. No patches or update. Esports WILL be God awful when it will drop just like how UFC 3 was terrible when it first dropped. But with patches and updates (If they are Committed to the project), then the game will end up being awesome. Fans forgot about how slow the strikes were and how counters were Guaranteed knockouts when UFC 3 first dropped. I still have the early gameplay lol. Esports is in a great place. I can’t wait. I won 8 in a row and loss to decision on my 9th. 7 out of those 8 fights they quit “DNF” I’m never getting out division 1 🥲. If anyone played search and destroy on cod that once you win or lose you can’t leave the match unless you leave right before the win or lose animation “you’re locked in basically” ufc should take into considering of right when your body flops and you get KOd the quit button is faint and can’t be pressed.
