Breaking down and bringing you my top 5 striking combinations ahead of the release of UFC 4. Hopefully this gives you a little insight into my game if you are new hear or looking to pick up some new combinations yourself when UFC 4 drops. points to improve: - Greater deformity of the face (swelling, closed eye, deep cuts) even when elbowing it underneath the floor catching it in full, it does not open or bleed - Improve the fall system further when you receive a knockout (UFC 2) rag doll - Be a little faster, the kicks are still slow, even with fighters who kick fast like Steven Thompson - Having medical interruption, demonstrates greater realism, can come as an option, mark this option who wants to play with medical interruption At first this is my analysis.

Number 5 I used with max Holloway in UFC 3 quite a bit. Very effective.

One combo that’s never failed me, is left cross, right body hook from the southpaw stance. Usually a jab or feint to close the distance. Also, I’ve found that feinting a spinning head kick usually causes the opponent to duck, leaving them highly susceptible to a knee to the head. Sometimes this knee lands to the body of they lean the head back rather than duck. But the feint spin closes the distance and follow ups with the knee are really quick

im suprised you don't have any combos that end with a leg kick. the calf kicks are damaging and almost everyone forgets you can attack the legs and not just body/head

Leg kicks wont hurt your opponent if they are good striking both stances. But it helps with points decisions

I notice that on #4 people usually use head movement and counter with a hook. And the hook will most likely stun you if you walk the direction it’s coming from😬

I don’t know if any other characters can do it but when I played Cruz, if you hold the button for your rear hand it makes you lunge with a straight. Something I like using

In my experience with the beta the striking felt clunky and sluggish. Much different than UFC 3. Does that feeling eventually go away after you get used to the game? Also it seemed I could no longer fight on the outside realistically anymore & leg kicks seemed to not be effective all. Do you find this to be true aswell?

Lead hook fake to rear body knee closing the distance is a very high percent combo for me I never see used. Just sayin

its ok in training but online the reaction speed from pressing the combo is laggy and doesnt read it alot.jab x2 and leg kick is quick but same issue i like the lead leg kick into back leg kick to body then spin back fist really quick tempo but im having major issues with there jab knocking me over while im doing a combo and they hit a hand or something daft.

Is the jab to the body good in this game? I know a lot of players that didn’t use it in UFC 3 because it had no stopping power

It probably won’t have stopping power this time round either so probably not but if you do you need to combo with a strike with stopping power

In UFC 3 all you had to do was press R2 after throwing a single strike or takedown to cancel it, I think it's just the same as UFC 4. So all you do is press R2 immediately after throwing a strike

Your moving to much while trying to throw a combo which is resulting in you throw extremely slow punches and kicks. If you move into position first then input your combos quickly, you can land a 4 or 5 hit combo before your opponent knows what happened. The faster you input your combo the faster your fighter throws that combo
