Came here to point out that you can't be considered a cheater when it's allowed in the rules but I see I'm late to the party 😂 I'm not a Gordon Ryan fan but I do agree with his logic that either it's allowed across the board or banned across the board.... He said he's willing to not do them so I'll take him at his word..... And he is not lying about the people wanting to see the best athletes and the best athletes being on PEDs...... Can't talk about Fighter Health being the priority when these people are quite literally trying to harm the opponent, whether strikes to the head in MMA or breaking a limb or joint in BJJ..... So things that help them heal better would actually be better for the fighter health.... Certain steroids for only strength I can see but things like BC-157 is banned but it's sole ability is for faster muscle recovery and brain reinforcement.... I think that's it's name but I could be wrong, same with peptides..... I think things like that should be allowed for the fighter.... Things like EPO should not.....

That Jiu Jitsu base fundamental is true when the bigger one doesn’t know Jiu Jitsu, because when both sides does, in an equivalent level, the bigger one will win, we haven’t seen a smaller guy in ADCC win an absolute in a while. When Gordon was off steroids he was beating everybody, until they brought Pena, which was way bigger than him, Pena struggled to beat him but he did, Twice, Gordon bulked up and we saw what happened.

Just correcting: here in Brazil it is not THAT easy to buy steroids... You need a medical prescription, and even for the doctors it is quite complicated to prescribe, because they can't prescribe testosterone or other compounds if you your system is running well, so it is a fragile topic here and the government is making it more dificult (yes, f***king burocrats being burocrats). Anyway, other than that, you can buy from black market, but then it is by your own risk (the same in US I am pretty sure)

The UFC was basically built on the shoulders of a 26 year old, 178 Lb Brazilian grappler who wasn't jacked at all. Joyce Gracie's incredibly skill and willpower single handedly changed the face of combat sports in the US. Somebody needs to clue Gordon in. Nobody gives 2 5hits if he's "shredded". Where in Brasil do you get PED over rhe counter? Been there many times and my perception is that you really have to go through a corrupt doctor to get them. How hard it is to find one is another case. I tried to buy antibiotics in smaller pharmacy and thwy wouldn give me without a pescription.
