First off all, shoutout to the real men watch to the end family! This was an absolute classic.. time flew by on this film study I loved everyone moment of it. I think the best point made was the emphasis on ANALYSIS in a film study. You showed proof of the mistakes made that can burn him on the next level while mixing in some of the good stuff. He’s not a bad player but to anyone thinking he’s bulletproof you can’t objectively watch this video and believe that there isn’t another level he could unlock. It’s pretty simple if you think he has no room for improvement then you’d be saying he’s a finished product which I believe would be gross negligence at this point

Murf nailing it saying "when tf have you known somebody from that Saban scheme to play soft zone". Kirby and Saban's M.O is a fresh rotation of bodies, aggressive defense and get TF off the field ASAP. They don't just wanna not give up big plays, they don't wanna give up first downs period. To UGA fans getting mad at Murph: Speaking as a huge UGA fan myself, he's right and everything he said about Ringo's reps in this and past videos is correct. What more do you need to see? Even Javon Bullard his teammate is tired of the uncompetitive reps and needless penalties. Murph is just giving an honest evaluation of his play just like NFL GM's would do. It's not personal, it just is what it is. I hope Ringo fixes his technique ASAP and becomes the best lockdown corner in the country but that isn't reality at this time. He might be the best kid in the world but that doesn't change what he's put on tape up to this point. IT'S JUST FOOTBALL EVALUATION, PERIOD!! Chill out UGA Ultra Homers lol

I think you said it well when you said he is stiff getting out of his breaks, like his footwork is slow and almost casual. And I think often when the ball is in the air he panics and gets overly physical leading to a lot of Pi's. If he just stays focused on refining his technique and lets coaches coach him he has all the physical attributes to be great in the nfl, he's got the build for sure.

I think a lot of his issues come from overthinking in the moment but I've always felt like safety would be better for him where he can use his speed to help. because while yes his top end speed is great his weight hurts him especially on short routes like slants and curls. Im a huge UGA fan, but this is spot on analyzation of a CB. He has every ability in the world, but plays like he doesn't belong. He needs to play more physical and with his hands more at the line. I wonder if there is an underlying vision issue as in he needs some damn glasses because often times he is late or totally misses the ball.
@anthonywilliams9334

Slow to non existent play/route recognition that results in behind out of phase too often, doesn't seem to understand when to apply proper leverage and turns the wrong way, consistently poor footwork which results in all kinds of problems for the duration of the rep, tendency not to jam in press and grab later (or sooner if he peeks into the back field too long), gets caught looking into the back field WAY too much and tries to compensate with athleticism to recover. Just doesn't seem to trust technique and the cerebral part of the position. Safety may be the answer if a coach can't work with him to clean these weakness up. Overall excellent athlete who may not be coachable...I doubt the DB coach at UGA isn't trying to help him clean up all the various technique and mental errors. You see the vast potential but he would be frustrating as f*$k to coach IMHO. Thanks Murf...someone had to say it and you checked all the boxes.

He’s definitely on that 90’s R&B vibe with his passionate aggression. When he’s committing PI’s, he’s playing Rock Wit’cha by Bobby Brown in his head lol. I am a huge UGA fan, but I take it all in stride. Tomorrow the ride could be over, and as a fan, no matter how hard you cheer, you really only have a little influence on the games that you are physically located at. That is it. That means that you have to take it as it is. I want the players on the team to be rewarded for being Dawgs, but I don't want that to happen at the cost of getting the best product, or at the cost of the players having expectations on them that they can't meet if they are drafted. Gifted players are often best in the NFL because they never get challenged young, whereas players less skilled have to work harder. Return they get their true "man body", the harder workers separate. As a fan, 8 can't get all of the camera angles without paying out the ass for it (the price may have gone down by now), so we can only judge it off of that. Few of us can take the time to watch the game over again, in slow motion, rewinding and such. Again, as a fan, I don't want to be in someones jock just because they have the game lock down play. Maybe Ringo should be a safety?

I would have Ringo in the slot/star/rover position depending on defensive scheme, he may benefit better from covering the flats,curls, and hook zones. Solid tackler nice size and speed to cover TE's he is by no means an outside CB in my pov, it takes more than just being a great athlete to play on an island your instinct, ball location, and hand placement in press along with great footwork is key to being a great outside corner. I can see Harrison Jr having a big day against Ringo, the only problem with him being in the slot is majority of the #1 WR in the league make their living in the slot, Ringo has a lot to work on

Bro. I'm a fan through and through, and you're speaking straight facts; however, I chopped it up to laziness. He got lazy because he knows our D-line pressures the QB into over and/or under throws, and that's where he shined the past 2 years. He's the pick 6 guy. However, he plays tight coverage lazy af to me. Like he knows he's safe because of the pick saga. Bro gets the savage pads almost every game, especially last year with Jordan Davis wrecking havoc on QBs. However, I'm not nervous about it with Ohio BECAUSE like Kirby said, they're going back to camp. We seen what they came out doing against Oregon after camp style practice, so I call it as UGA over OSU 55-24. The SEC was a statement that we're about to start putting up old Bama and old Clemson type points on people. Mark my words. UGA running it on ANYBODY the next 5 years, even with the flaws because ours flaws aren't as bad as everyone else's flaws. We're winning the big games. Tennessee beat so bad, they let S Carolina take them out the playoff picture. Crushed them boys. However, they're not getting beat for the next 5 years. Culture speaks for itself. When you get the players to buy into the culture and EARN their spot to play, like Bennett said, "they'll do anything to win." I'm done ranting. Great video. Got my support my boy.

He is a Freak athlete, however as a corner I just don't see it. He has speed to keep up on the deep balls, those two pic's prove that. The issue is when they Slant, Curl, or short post. His Transition is just not there. It's almost like he can't get his hip coordination down. Starks clearly Transitions far better. What helps Ringo so much is having Chris Smith, or Starks there to back him up. I'd love to see a game where Kirby swapped him and Starks out.
