The most under rated part of the UGA program and what sets them apart IMO is the coaching staff. Yes we got big physical 4 and 5 star athletes all over the place and that matters, but our coaches are developing these players at an extremely high level. They get these guys to fully buy into the process and the system. Most of the current staff have either been or will be head coaches for another program. This is hands down the best staff in the country and the best UGA has ever had, you can tell they work well together, its a well oiled machine right now.

When your entire offensive line returns and your new coach is intimately knowledgeable of your opponents game plan, plus your new QB has played the opponent three times and you still get your doors blown off, all I can say is that one team is obviously better than the other. Not to mention that you had the entire off season to prepare for this game. The PAC 12 just cannot compete with the SEC at the highest level. By the way, Bo Nix did not leave Auburn and go to Oregon to be the back up QB. As for Georgia, Kirby has learned from the Master and will continue to be great at what he does. He has taken the pebble from the hand. Maybe not every year, but enough to be reckoned with.

Getting beat by teams such as Georgia or Bama is not as painful as the aftermath: multiple injuries sustained (occasionally missing several games), and the 'hangover'. Glazed eyes in players that show up in losing focus for a few games. Watch Oregon to see if they have such a hangover against Eastern Washington. At the Neutral Site season opener, Bama has ruined several teams seasons by knocking out key players. Ask Wisconsin, FSU, Michigan, and USC! And Saban complained that many teams don't want to play them.
