@@EatingTheAfricanWay Shooting yourself in the foot is a relatively common phrase here for if you accidentally done something that will hinder you from achieving your ultimate goal. Besides there are no guns in the UK except shotguns. I think I might try that Biryani recipe soon. Anything to avoid having the family cook! Zimbabwean food is at once overly salty and yet bland so I rather cook myself since I also enjoy the process.
