Pokémon Gold/Silver - All Unreleased Sprite/Cries Comparison (1999)

Hi! Recently there was some beta leaks shown on the internet, many new and website, journalist had show them. I've decided to show you all these unreleased sprite in the best quality possible, some of them are good and other was in the works. I wish some of them would've been here like the sprite of Mewtwo or Gyarados but I guess that's impossible now...

I was hardly thinking about posting those, sharing them or not but my decision is this : Many important people had posted them like I've said earlier.
Despite understanding some people removing them, it is useless in my opinion because once something is on the internet, it will always stay no matter what, and many people can agree with me on that point.
My video is to give information about these unreleased Pokemon and what could've been with them. People opinion are also important for many reason that I don't need to explain. This is mostly for the company growth and improving further more their work.
Last very important thing : These sprite are 97% the same as the one that I've posted back in 2019 with the 1997 demo, it's just that this one is a little more colored and improved drastically. I could've posted all the new Pokemon leak that people has shown in the Yellow/Blue beta but choose not to. So there's nothing to worry about.

Some of these pokemon were clearly placeholders like Larvitar and the marshmallow one. Btw another leak surfaced at the same time that shows a lot more unseen pokemon. Look up Korean gold silver 1997. Some of the highlights include a possible very early Celebi (An all black thing holding a flute), a middle evo between natu and xatu, Elebaby being a possible pre evo Elekid rather than beta Elekid, a fossil looking pokemon and a pokemon that might be based on Pikachu's first design.

That was never intended to be Gyarados's color scheme, it's just an old sprite that still has gen 1 style shading but has the gen 2 palette :v

Game Freak probably did some of the redesigns sometime Late 1998 (The year Game Boy Color came out) to Mid 1999. 6:28 Gyarados looking more threatening than ever in his earlier sprite 7:30 Beta Sprite Mewtwo to the left looks like he’s gonna power up. 8:06 Furret close to its final design without all that thick fur. Looking like an actual ferret and without that bulging tail. Plus it has no double stripes on his cheeks. 8:15 Ledyba looks close to the final, but that freaking *T H I C C* back 8:25 Remember Beta Ariados? *NOW IN COLOR!!!* 8:33 Chinchou without the yellow eyes just makes it look dead Lolol 8:36 Ball Pichu from the 97 build getting a slight upgrade on the left side. It is interesting how they would pull out another four-legged axolotl pokémon as a starter in the generation right after this one. And both of them cute as hell. I really hope to see this beta wooper as a Regioan Form in a future generation.

I noticed a majority of the sprite differences focus on making the Pokémons’ posing significantly more dynamic and convey more movement. Some of the older sprites look better, but many seem much more static. It’s interesting.

So many of these are really excellent pixel art and have very natural looking posing. Whatever version is on the left is the best, very memorable designs. I'm impressed, these tend to be strange. I think this is why people think new gen designs are inferior, new gens are really simplified designs, early gens tried to make them realistic and gritty at times, and the token cute ones were still strange and somehow disconcerting
