I remember playing this song for my mom and telling her it reminded me of my relationship with my dad. She then told me my dad used to say the same thing about the original version and his relationship with his father. When we don’t learn from the past, we repeat it.

Hi guys... shout out from Montreal, Canada. Love your reactions... have been listening for a few months now. I didn't know this version... just knew and loved the original from Harry Chapin. Now, I have a few suggestions I think you guys will love exploring. You may know them but have not reacted to them. 1. George Carlin - Seven words you can't say on television... from his Class Clown album. He is not as "mad" as in the last video you did, although it has an adult content. More humerous take on the subject. 2. The legendary Al Jarreau (RIP) performing Dave Brubeck's - Take Five... live from 1976. Such an amazing voice and talent the way he 'imitates' different instruments. 3. "St James Infirmary" feat. Dee Dee Bridgewater and Riley Mulherkar... a Jazz classic that showcases Dee Dee's talent for scatting... the attitude from the woman! ...a must listen! If you enjoy her, she also sings "Let's Do It Again" and "GABIN feat. DEE DEE BRIDGEWATER - INTO MY SOUL - Official Video" which I think you'll love. Enjoy!

Ugly kid Joe was fine as a cover but the stuff they wrote was tough to take seriously. Everything about you and neighbor are songs that are tough to take as more than a joke.

@ you get one chance to make a first impression and me and many others never went back. I liked this song and everything about you is fun in a full cheese way but this is the reason they never became huge
